Re: Amazon Photo

Yes I use it. I have it set to automatically back up my images as I load them into the PC. It's biggest advantage for me is it classes raw files as photos so there is unlimited storage. I would however avoid using the sync feature as it's very easy to delete images on the cloud and pc at the same ti...

Re: Daks Over Normandy - June 2019

Going on Tuesday just wondering what lens to take. I have 70-300 and a 150-600. Normally I would take the 150-600 but I'm thinking it might be a bit too much for a lot of shots. Will obviously take a wide angle as well for some airfield shots!

Re: Tornado Farewell Tour

The Stapleford way point between Waddington and Cranwell this afternoon fortunately seemed to drift a bit and as a consequence people waiting at the museum benefited from a turning pass directly over Hangar 2 - superb!! Yes noticed they were a bit wide from my viewpoint on a hill near Caythorpe!

Remember going to Waddington late 70's early 80's with my dad. I wasn't very old but there were at least 4 launched together possibly more.I will check what he remembers next time I see him.

I did the same thing although not the same as a full air display still plenty going on for me the high light was the flying bulls DC6 appearing...

Seems to be a lot of speculation going on in this thread UKAR usually take a dim view on that or have things changed?

Are you sure you're not threatening the very future of airshows posting these? No one was hurt. The aircraft landed safely. There is no suggestion the public were endangered. It was witnessed by thousands of spectators. It was photographed by a large number of people. It has been reported widely al...

Can't say I really understand it just seems like snobbery from the UKAR elite. If you post images on here it's not much different to any other form of social media. There is certainly an element on here who like to blow smoke up each other in regard to each others images and then ignore other good i...

Bit of digging around online shows it was a Devon. They are apparently doing pleasure flights from Sywell where you get to fly along side.
