So are you at the show this weekend as well??
[/quote]
No but that's due to family commitments not the line up. I agree it's not that spectacular and the lack of legends is disappointing but you pays your money and takes your choice.

Re: Duxford Summer Air Show - 18th & 19th June
Went yesterday for the arrivals an practice displays. A thoroughly enjoyable day with the strike master duo practice being the highlight. Display line seemed a lot closer than previous at the M11 end possible helped by the slight cross wind. Worth remembering two years ago there were no airshows and...

Re: Nikon Z5 Z6
I have the Z6 with adapter for my F mount lenses and upgraded from the D7200. Although I got it primarily for landscape photography its also very good for aviation. Burst mode is 12FPS and it marries well with my sigma 150-600 and I certainly get a better hit rate than the D7200 on the limited amoun...

Re: Amazon Photo
Yes I use it. I have it set to automatically back up my images as I load them into the PC. It's biggest advantage for me is it classes raw files as photos so there is unlimited storage. I would however avoid using the sync feature as it's very easy to delete images on the cloud and pc at the same ti...

Reds should be up at Scampton if the weather is fair. Pretty sure they don't Notam as it's there operational base.

Re: Daks Over Normandy - June 2019
Going on Tuesday just wondering what lens to take. I have 70-300 and a 150-600. Normally I would take the 150-600 but I'm thinking it might be a bit too much for a lot of shots. Will obviously take a wide angle as well for some airfield shots!

Re: Tornado Farewell Tour
The Stapleford way point between Waddington and Cranwell this afternoon fortunately seemed to drift a bit and as a consequence people waiting at the museum benefited from a turning pass directly over Hangar 2 - superb!! Yes noticed they were a bit wide from my viewpoint on a hill near Caythorpe!

Remember going to Waddington late 70's early 80's with my dad. I wasn't very old but there were at least 4 launched together possibly more.I will check what he remembers next time I see him.

Both of the posts above are from an incident in 2003 this shot was taken last September at Stoughton and it was very much alive and kicking then.

It was witnessed by thousands of spectators. It was photographed by a large number of people. It has been reported widely al...
