Re: Movies!

Batman Long before Christopher Nolan was even heard of, Tim Burton gave us this version of the Dark Knight - a dark, moody, but absolutely brilliant actioner starring Michael Keaton as the Caped Crusader, and Jack Nicholson as a downright brilliant Joker. Still the best Batman film, I think. 9/10 J...

Dangerous Moonlight Wartime drama about a Polish musician escaping the destruction of the Blitz to try to aid his countrymen by writing and playing music in America, only for him to long to return to action in the skies over Britain. Terminator 2 - Judgement Day

The second - and, in my universe, last - of the Terminator films is still a belter. Scary to think it came out nearly 30 years ago! 8/10

Bohemian Rhapsody

Freddie Mercury's biopic is still really good after the 15th time...! 8/10

Planes Ashamed to say I had never seen this before - mainly due to the fact that I had seen Disney's Pixar-produced Cars a few years back, and thought it was mince. I actually rather enjoyed this one, though! I had fun looking at the caricature aircraft in the film, including the Wright R-3350-powe...

Malta Story Alec Guinness plays a rather unorthodox photo-reconnaissance pilot who gets stranded on Malta during a transit flight at the height of the siege in 1942. Pretty soon, he's roped into flying missions over enemy territory to try to help thwart the pending invasion. An under-rated British ...

If anyone's interested, I'll post up some photos of my girlfriend's three lunatics - Sean, Tuttie and Charlie.

She also had an OAP moggy called Tigga who LOVED me - she would completely ignore the other half if I came into the house!

Syd reminds me of a cat that used to live near my house. He was called Olly, and he had the most fantastic whiskers/moustache. And, funnily enough, he reminded me of an old fighter pilot, the way his whiskers stuck out!
