Re: BBMF Lancaster email

This discussion has gone off at a tangent and as much as the various merits of Coningsby's runway and taxiway configurations may well be a subject of interest for some, all I care about is if the Lanc will make the Duxford show or not. If anyone is ITK it would be appreciated info. Cheers.

Nice to hear Ben D on the mic this year. That Gemini routine was 'spirited' wasn't it 😳

I love the show at LG, seemed packed so lots of Dosh for CIN hopefully...

Re: Little Gransden 2021

I have been several times and it's a really charming show, I look forward to seeing the progress of the Hurri in the workshop every year. The BBQ is done by scouts, it's great value. Staying late is well worth it, you often see some rare visitors going home and if it's a warm evening, there is simpl...

Surely mass spits are more likely at the BOB show....

I doubt the displays will be added to much, after all if they have lots up their sleeve wouldn't they announce as soon as poss to boost sales?

Forgot to mention the only downside to the day for me which was the total closure of the M25 Infront of me, leading to a mad scramble to leave the motorway and a cross country drive to pick up the A1 at Stevenage!

Re: Flying For Fun - 17th July

Yes I think I have only ever watched the Eds in gloomy dusky light, normally this is because the winds often die down later in the evening but on Sat the windsock seemed limp most of the day so a pity they could not fly 30 mins earlier. This was my first airshow in nearly 2 years and my goodness the...

It was scandalous that ITV used Matterface last night, for me the best on ITV is Clive Tyldsley and on BBC Guy Mobray is the best of an average bunch. However the droning Danny Murphy and Jenas are awful...

Re: COVID-19: Your Thoughts and it's effects on you.

That was my initial thought but there were at least as many centres with dates available as when I booked my first jab and I've actually now booked at a centre much much closer to home that previously wasn't available to me. I guess it all depends how long you are waiting for the 2nd jab. Moving it...

Re: COVID-19: Your Thoughts and it's effects on you.

Having to cancel existing before rebooking is a terrible system, what if you cancel only to find something much later instead of earlier. A shambolic system. I decided to stick to my original date for second jab, too risky otherwise.

Re: COVID-19: Your Thoughts and it's effects on you.

I suppose the question is, what is an acceptable level of death? 10 per day? 20? 100?
What if that number were to include a close relative?
