Re: RIAT 2024 - discuss most things thread

Well wasn't that very carefully worded. Nope, you're going to have to explain that I'm afraid! With regard to US participation in the flying programme and it very much looking like no ACC demos........ again! And before I get jumped on, yes I know why, but they seem to be able to go to Europe with ...

Re: RIAT 2024 wishlist.

That's a proper hefty gap in July and ACC still yellow on the website so at least we can assume the question has been asked as it is every year no doubt.

Re: RIAT 2024 - discuss most things thread

Great to see the RAF doing a bit more with the F-35, as others have said be even better if it operates from Fairford.

Just a quick note that the Rolls Royce Spitfire and Mustang are Sunday only, they never mentioned that on their social media, just on the website.
British Airshows have them down to display both days ?
The official website says Sunday only, i'm inclined to believe that.

Kirkbride Open Day & Fly In

It's always nice when the weather decides to play ball for a change, makes all the months of work worthwhile. A few slightly late photos from this years Open day & Fly in, we had over 100 aircraft make the trip from all over the UK to Kirkbride which is 10 miles west of Carlisle. https://live.st...

Re: RIAT 2024 wishlist.

I know its only done once a year or so, but Belgium flies a team of 4 F16s "Thunder Tigers" Thunderbirds would be great too. Doubt we'd get an Israel F16 but doesn't Romania fly them too? Got to admit with the current stance with America and the demo teams, i got to wondering if the Dutch...

What’s your source? Both the Blenheim and Corsair are still listed on the website so I’m struggling to see how they can add one as a replacement for the other but at the same time not remove the Blenheim from the website?
Absolutely priceless 🤣

Totally agree with that, the American stuff just has IT! That special X factor if you like, the touch of showmanship. Look at our stuff, all competent on the mic but not exactly excited about what they're showing us (other than the guy who done the Chinook the other year). I think this is yet anothe...

Credit where it's due, it is a cracking line up but it does need that US demo team or either F-35 / F-22 or maybe either both to plop the cherry on the cake!
