SB-800 duly bought earlier today from local Jessops...after a severe haggling session(mainly from my mother,who`s here for Xmas),got the price down from the advertised £252 to £240 :smile:

Hi Apologies if this has been asked before... I have a D80,and I`m looking to buy a Speedlight or flashgun for it. Have about £200 to spend,but can go a bit higher if necessary. Differences between SB-800 and SB-600? Anything equivalent to the Speedlight that does the same job? Any thoughts? MTIA Al...

I remember being at the end of the runway at Mildenhall back in the 70s,and a KC135 (before re-enginning) took off...the noise was extremely loud,with a deep rumble sensation in my chest. Never experienced anything remotely close since then. Lightnings were the next loudest.I recall being at a show ...

Upper Heyford is now mostly a large industrial estate.I drove round the perimeter a couple of months ago,but there is still a lot of security in place,and "property of MOD" signs everywhere. The runway is used by car manufacturers to store cars awaiting delivery.A lot of the associated bui...
