I wondered if it was based at Sleap airfield, I live nearby and it flies over regularly, makes a nice change other than black and yellow Squirrels.

Re: RAF Cosford Air Show 2017 - [Main Topic]
As usual a cracking day out. A good line up both on the ground and in the air and well managed traffic both in and out, took us less than ten minutes to get in and about twenty minutes to get out. The bad weather added to the atmosphere of the Lancer I thought, the swiss were as precise as most thin...

Scans from 1990's and early 00's
I don't post on here very often but thought i would post these. managed to start scanning all my slides from the early 90's through to the mid 00's, unfortunately some of the slides are of a bad quality, some due to my bad photography back in the day and others due to many of the slides not being st...

Re: Friday morning activity ??
Where would be a good place to stop for an hour on friday? I'm more or less driving past Fairford on friday on my way to Gloucester and my four year wants to see some fast jets, but I think a full day at the show would be too long a day for her. I'm going into the show myself on sunday.

Re: Revell GB 1/72 f-117 nighthawk
A quick update on this one, i think this was once designed as a snap together kit as it has very few parts and large pins that hold quite tightly. the glazing has to go on the inside of the fuselage and is very thick....which is a good thing as the cockpit is moulded as one piece with a big hole in ...

Re: Revell GB - 1/48 F-5F ,,Aggressor'' - Update 2
This sounds like it from the same original factory as my f-117 as that has a one piece cockpit and very few large parts, you are making a good job of it though.

Revell 1/72 boeing kaydet 'cropduster'
This is my first attempt at a conversion, using revells pt-17 kaydet u.s navy kit and converting it to a cropduster, all parts are from the spares box. Painted using a brush and humbrol enamels. I used a variety of pictures of this type it seems that most of the conversions were done by the individu...

Revell GB 1/72 f-117 nighthawk
1/72 F-117 Nighthawk Now i've just finished my Revell Kaydet which was almost finished when this GB started, i'm going to make a start on this now. Unfortunately i haven't got the box for this just a bag of sprues decals and instructions. It looks like it could be a simple kit due to not many parts....

italeri Rafale b 'Demonstrator'
Italeri 1:72 Dassault Rafale B 'demonstrator' This isn't a bad little kit to build, I wasn't that keen on the two tone blue and grey offering in the kit, so i used some of the kit decals and painted the rafale on the tail to make this version. Went together really well except for the ejection seats ...
