For display - Last 2 Farnborough. Reduction in airspace hasn't helped. Attending aircraft has reduced to beyond abysmal.
For traffic - Waddington. Stuck on the main A road to get in. Aimed to arrive around 8am, traffic delays meant we arrived around 11am.

Re: Biggin Hill Festival of Flight 2018
So let me get this right....you're berating Biggin Hill for using their 100th anniversary image for their RAF 100th Biggin Hill image with the addition of the roundel being formed in the background (hence the blue smoke). Good continuity as far as I'm concerned. Don't forget, the NEW Biggin Hill air...

Taken from their Facebook page Matt TEAM UPDATE: As of the 01st November, our team name will be changing back to the 'AeroSuperBatics WingWalkers', as our contract with Breitling will end. We are very much looking forward to a busy 2018 display season and would like to thank you all in advance for y...

I know that the Bucc group and Lightning group have done/are hosting their own events. Victor had a sqd reunion and the Comet got pulled along, so it's not all doom and gloom. Maybe in light of this news, the owners may put on a small individual event of their own; and don't forget you can access th...

Re: So, you gonna go or what?
4 of us are going. We don't do RIAT, and Waddington was a disaster for us when we went a few years ago. It's the only 'big' show we're going to this year. Even upgraded our tickets to the garden so we get to park onsite and get decent seating. Yes these tickets are pricey, but we can afford it-so wh...

Re: Biggin Hill Festival of Flight
Sedate is my word for Saturday. No problems with getting into the car parking. Getting out was quick as well, although I believe a lot of people left after the Reds showed. Slow walk with everyone else up to the ticket desk ( we arrived around 9am) but the line was moving. Got a spot on the fence, s...

4 of us are going (went last year). This is our first airshow this year as we decided to give Abingdon a miss. We're used to the good old days of the Biggin Air Fair so it will be interesting to see where they place the crowd line in relation to last year. At least the fun-fair is in place , but as ...

Seeing as other people have put up much better photos of the 3 lightnings than I could, I thought I'd go with a more 'reportage' style. The 4 of us thoroughly enjoyed the evening. Big thanks to everyone involved at LPG https://farm6.staticflickr.com/5701/22308114453_68f7683b8e_c.jpg https://farm6.st...

I work in a community centre in Maidstone town centre. We have many counselling services here. You'd see many different types of people coming through our doors. You don't even need to go through your doctor, just give them a ring and set up an appointment. The good thing about coming here, is that ...

Abingdon air fair has the right idea. Even though the gate to the airshow doesn't open until 10am, the car park is open earlier. Get the cars in the car park and parked up. Everyone can then sit in their car and wait, or join the queue at the gate on foot until 10:00 I don't think it will be the end...
