Re: Breitling Enclosure

My mate asked this year and you can’t just turn up with your watch these days. They said it was “invite only” but how you get an invite I don’t know. Perhaps an email to their customer support or marketing dept would be a start

Looks like a couple of computers using Prepar3D connected to JoinFS, hardly groundbreaking...nor worth three digits.
Bit cheaper than buying all the kit yourself though eh!

Nikon 200-400 F4 For Sale

I get married in September and the need for funds is outweighing my need for this lens so put it up on ebay despite not really wanting to part with it. Link:

Surplus Dealers?

Does anyone know any Army surplus dealers? My air cadet sqn has a large amount of RAF goretex jackets and trousers we need to sell to raise some funds and free up storage space. Its on ebay here: m There is a lot of it so a dealer would be the way to go I think but not sure how to attract them. I di...

Tend to just use instagram and facebook although they are not the best platforms for showing the quality, they are just easy to use. I'll try post more often. Thanks for comments

Commissioning a model

I’ve seen a few posts in the past where it’s been a model someone has commissioned a medeller to build for them and a I’m wondering how I go about doing this. My grandad bought a 1:24 Airfix Hawker Typhoon but decided it was too much for him so has given it to me and I think it’s a bit beyond me als...

Re: Friday ticket up for grabs

I didn't think RIAT had an issue with you selling it on for face value as long as you didn't use ebay? From their FAQ section: For those wishing to sell their tickets, we request that you do not do this via sites like eBay. We actively monitor sites like this and if we are able to identify the selle...

Re: Which Lens?

If it were me, and I had the money, I'd go for the 300/2.8 plus a 1.4 converter. Having said that, I do have the money, but I don't see my wife letting me spend it on a 300/2.8, she has other priorities! I'm torn between the super sharpness of a 300 2.8 and the flexibility the zoom gives. The Mrs h...
