Re: Breitling Enclosure
My mate asked this year and you can’t just turn up with your watch these days. They said it was “invite only” but how you get an invite I don’t know. Perhaps an email to their customer support or marketing dept would be a start

Surplus Dealers?
Does anyone know any Army surplus dealers? My air cadet sqn has a large amount of RAF goretex jackets and trousers we need to sell to raise some funds and free up storage space. Its on ebay here: m There is a lot of it so a dealer would be the way to go I think but not sure how to attract them. I di...

Tend to just use instagram and facebook although they are not the best platforms for showing the quality, they are just easy to use. I'll try post more often. Thanks for comments

[quote A lot more sympathy would have been had if they had said early on “we’re working hard to get the retro-liveried BA jets to the show for a flypast on Sunday. Much to work through before this is confirmed, but we have opened a dialogue”, or whatever their intention is. [/quote] I was at the FRI...

Commissioning a model
I’ve seen a few posts in the past where it’s been a model someone has commissioned a medeller to build for them and a I’m wondering how I go about doing this. My grandad bought a 1:24 Airfix Hawker Typhoon but decided it was too much for him so has given it to me and I think it’s a bit beyond me als...

Re: RIAT Arrivals... LIVE! 2018
From Twitter: Ah OK, thanks I assumed that kind of thing wouldn't ever vary. Or actually would it when magnetic north moves, as that's how the numbering is worked out anyway? But I don't recall Fairford ever being anything other than 09/27. But then, I don't recall quite a lot of things anymore God...

Re: Friday ticket up for grabs
I didn't think RIAT had an issue with you selling it on for face value as long as you didn't use ebay? From their FAQ section: For those wishing to sell their tickets, we request that you do not do this via sites like eBay. We actively monitor sites like this and if we are able to identify the selle...

RIAT 2018 Saturday Ticket For Sale
Hi All, My other half bought me a ticket for Christmas but in her wisdom bought me a Saturday ticket when I wanted a Friday one. Re: Which Lens?
If it were me, and I had the money, I'd go for the 300/2.8 plus a 1.4 converter. Having said that, I do have the money, but I don't see my wife letting me spend it on a 300/2.8, she has other priorities! I'm torn between the super sharpness of a 300 2.8 and the flexibility the zoom gives. The Mrs h...

Re: Which Lens?
Little off topic, can i ask why you decided to sell your 200-500? Hi Mike, Of course you can. I just needed some money and it was the off season and I knew I wanted to upgrade anyway so sold it. I had no issues with it, got some great results, I'm just looking for a step up in IQ and possibly AF sp...
