Abingdon 2014 - Better late than never!!

Hi all. Better late than never I guess! Some shots from my first show of the season a few weeks back at Abingdon. Always enjoy this show, great atmosphere and a varied flying display. Weather was stunning as many of you will know - so here are the day's takings! Enjoy https://farm3.staticflickr.com/...

Final VC10 Retirement

Very overdue but here are some shots of the final VC10 retirement that took place on 25/09/2013. Quite an incredible experience to be perfectly honest :thumb: http://farm6.staticflickr.com/5488/10631694056_2f11f68235_b.jpg Vickers VC10 K3 by Jack Goward Photography , on Flickr http://farm6.staticfli...

For sale - Lowepro Pro Runner

Hi all. Selling my Lowepro Pro Runner 300 AW. Great camera bag in good condition. Only reason I'm still not using it is because I upgraded my gear and it wouldn't fit in the bag! Great for aviation photography. Portable and is eligible for carry on luggage on most airlines!

Few hours @ Brize!

Headed over to Brize today. Arrived around around 1400 and it had apparently been fairly quiet all morning. Things livened up a bit in the afternoon though! Went to try and bag some more VC10 action but they didn't play ball today unfortunately. Had 174 in the circuit for hours, a couple of Voyager ...

Yeah deliberate. Cloud formations were not that great so it just adds a bit more effect. I did try without but there wasn't a great contrast between the foreground and background of the image.

Re: Classic Air Force, second visit...

I really hope they'll have an airshow there one day, like the '50s festival of flying they did at Coventry - a chance to see these gorgeous props/jets in one place! Would be great to see. I think I went to the very last show they had at Coventry. It was when the Spirit of St Louis replica crashed. ...

It was actually fairly busy in the morning what with the press launch and everything. I just don't like public in my pictures

Classic Air Force, second visit...

Hi folks. Earlier in the month I paid a visit to Classic Air Force for the second time. Was massively impressed with how far they'd come since I visited the collection for the first time back in early June. On the day I visited, there was a press morning taking place marking the arrival of a South A...

Hi all. Headed up to catch the Grad flypast at RAF Halton on Tuesday, 13,08,2013, to see what was what. Just a Hawk but he got it down nicely this time. Hi all. Down in Cornwall at the moment and headed over to Classic Air Force today (images to follow later) to see what was what. However, I got slightly distracted by this! Hendon, at last they've lightened up!

Hi all! Headed over to Hendon early last week to check out the new layout at the Graham White Hall and attempt to get some shots of the 43 Sqn F3 which I completely failed at but thats another story! Took the tripod with me this time to try and get some fairly decent images because as most of you wi...

Armed Forces Day from Halton Airfield

Hi all. On the 29th June I headed up to the airfield to catch some of the flying from the Armed Forces Day celebrations. Peter Teichman had a couple of his birds there and R4118 did a fantastic display. This will be my last post for a good while as I start my Recruit training tomorrow at RAF Halton....

Classic Air Force back in early June

Hi all. Was on holiday in Cornwall back in early June so thought I may as well head down to Classic Air Force to see what was what. Really nice location and good to see the BAC One Eleven up close. The 787 was also operating down there at the time so was quite interesting to see that in the circuit....
