Re: COVID-19: Your Thoughts and it's effects on you.

Well the Grand National has just been cancelled. Had applied for accreditation too.

Coronavirus has gone too far now.

Finnish Air Force Hawk Mk.51

Swiss Air Force PC-21

This list may be harder to add to as all foreign military types need to give 30 days notice to MOD for low flying in the Loop, or are completely banned.

Re: RIAT 2020

Yeovilton had their first update today with the Royal Danish air force. Would they not respond to RIATs invitation too? Maybe. Maybe not. Maybe they can attend Yeovilton but can’t attend RIAT. Maybe the Danish MoD are awaiting clearances for different aircraft to attend RIAT that won’t attend Yeovi...

It's 5pm tomorrow, isn't it?

Although for what it's worth, I'm thinking A-10 too.

Looks like it was delayed 24 hours, as I’m certain it said Monday yesterday...

Re: RIAT 2019

I have already seen Tommy take some stick from a die-hard RIAT supporter (may even be a volunteer) on Twitter. Not justified stick at all, seemed to take a swipe just because Tommy made valid points. I have your back, you were absolutely right and there was no excuse for him to knock you like that....

Re: RIAT 2019

But didn’t he say he could not be there for the five days necessary to see arrival and departure? And I was there and saw both but really I saw some taxiing at the west end and the arse end of a take off from the FRIAT stand, so not an awful lot of flying from the F-4s. Personally I just can’t see ...

Re: Big jet TV YouTube channel

Came across this Facebook page about them: https://www.facebook.com/BJTVliesPage/ makes for very interesting reading. The guy running it (Jerry Dyer) sounds like a right shady, arrogant so-and-so. I wouldn't give him any of my money that's for sure! Plus the quality of his camerawork and commentary...

Nope, just my choice of editing! :hide:

Well in that case, I’m sorry to say I really don’t like them. Go back to trying to make them look normal and maybe that will work.

Cheers,

Re: RIAT 2019

Does anyone else feel that we are losing out to the skyvan? I have noticed this both this year and last. It seems that aircraft prefer to meet up with that than give us any missed approaches or even run and breaks. Save up £1500 notes + and you could join em up in the sky. And the rest. Been quoted...

Many thanks, Chris. According to a post on Facebook, Qatari C-130J & C-17A will be arriving tomorrow. Would find that very unlikely. Hopefully into Brize until Wednesday? Would be a shame if they arrived at Fairford tomorrow. FFD won't be open for arrivals until Tuesday at the earliest will it?...

Re: RIAT 2019

Do not fully agree with Andy on the cost of running the Friday. It is run on show days mainly on avolunteer basis. Also the Saturday is normally a sell out months in advance before any display list is out. Sunday is allways the less attended so put the stronger display on Sunday , this will sell it...

Re: RIAT 2019

For those going on the Sunday, and not Saturday, can you stop doing your little rain dance as Saturday (as per BBC) looks like a wash out now (as does Friday and partially Thursday (although a bit early and bound to change...............) Considering that’s a change from yesterday, I wouldn’t worry...
