Re: Does anyone have the schedule for Sunday?
Theres the program as published on the day. Think a few things got moved around the Vulcan. Maybe someone could correct it slightly. 10:30-11:00 1) Sentry AEW1 2) Sentinel R1 3) Lynx HMA8 4) Typhoon FGR4 11:00-12:00 5) Merlin HM2 6) F-16AM (Netherlands) 7) Hunter T.7 8) Vulcan B.2 12:00-13:00 9) Lan...

Re: Departures 2013
We departed in the T6, cloud base at 12.00 was 800 feet over waddo, but north west of the field on the Barnsley pressure was 1300. We kept low past the aviation viewing park so you could get you photo's. hope you got some good shots. I was in the back seat. Trev Is that the same T6 that got red fla...

Re: Departures 2013
One Belgian F-16 got red flared for not confirming landing gear down and being too close to the other one. Then a yellow prop plane did for the same thing. Thought it was the T6. Maybe not. Didnt see any protesters

Re: Waddington Airshow 2013 - share your thoughts
I wrote my thoughts in another thread but I'll post them again in here aswell. Thought it was a good show flying display wise. As mentioned, there were some lengthy gaps, especially towards the start of the show. But overall, it was a nice varied display. Sadly I think the static lineup was quite po...

Re: Waddington 2013 - Participation Thread
A good show overall and a nice varied flying display. Thought it lacked static foreign military but thats just a sign of the times I guess. Only criticism is that of getting in this morning. The police were being absolutely pathetic. Everyone had formed a nice orderly queue, fully off the road on th...

Re: Waddington 2013 - Participation Thread
Rumours are the BBMF Lancaster may not make it - major hydraulic leak. That's the flypast out, if true. A major hydraulic leak has put the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight's Lancaster at risk of missing the RAF Waddington International Airshow. Mechanics are desperately working on the aircraft, na...

Re: Arrivals 2013
Was talking to some guy in the PAVE and those turk pilots sound a right pair. Apparently one was too pissed to be allowed anywhere near his plane yesterday afternoon and the other one who did the display breached the crowd safety line on multiple occasions. Who knows what we will get tomorrow.

Re: Arrivals 2013
I highly doubt the police will be ticketing cars without warning. Im pretty sure they will give you a chance to move on first. Plus, giving out a ticket takes atleast 5-10 minutes. Have they really got the capacity or motivation to go along ticketing 100+ cars. Doubt it. However expect a large polic...

As far as Im concerned, vintage can stay at the duxford airshow. Think most people go to waddington to be wowed by modern aircraft.

My first ever time at Waddo, went there as part of the crew on the Hunter.... We didn't know what to expect, so just polished the aircraft as much as we could over the weekend. Couldn't quite believe it when we were told we had got 3rd out of so many other participants. An amazing show, brilliant b...

The Ministry of Defence (MoD) said the Tornado GR4s were from RAF Lossiemouth, on the Moray coast. RAF Lossiemouth, the Maritime and Coastguard Agency and RNLI have been alerted to the inc...

Hi, just wanted to say well done to everyone at RAF Waddington and all of the other people who helped make it such a great day, it was a belter. I was sitting in the Hurricane stand about three rows behind the RAF guy who asked the two Koreans to leave, dont think they were pilots, more like ground...

Can you tell me when this was and how long after the display? because I was in the stand but didn't see that happen. It was on the saturday.
