Warning - Scam camera sales web site
Evenin' all. Whilst checking prices for the new EOS R6 I came across "Gabbys Cameras" - came up in a Google search in the promoted ads part - their price was £400 cheaper than the rest (which were all the same - not surprising at launch time) which sparked my interest. Sure enough, further digging f...

Finally managed to use my 60th Birthday pressie from my Mother and Brothers this morning thanks to the chaps at Classic Wings - a great experience! https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/50259156086_e0eb9c59bd_o.jpg G_AF_N3200_Spitfire_R_20200823_1S by Ralph Lunt Photography , on Flickr https://live.st...

12th August 2010 was the RAF Marham families day - rather moist at times, but a great showing by it's American neighbours :-) https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/50218291191_4633923df9_o.jpg G_AF_ZA452_Tornado_S_EGYM_20100812_1S by Ralph Lunt Photography , on Flickr https://live.staticflickr.com/655...

Re: 48 Hours Photo Competition - Lumps, Bumps and Pointy Bits
Wow - some cracking shots there - thanks to all that participated! I particularly like some of the historic shots such as the EA-3B and the bumpy Andover (had totally forgotten about that one!) plus a goodly selection of Russian experimental and AEW stuff, but the stand-out shot for me is Rebel14/Ma...

48 Hours Photo Competition - Lumps, Bumps and Pointy Bits
Evening all, Having pleased Paul with my Norrie shot, I present my theme - lumps, bumps and pointy bits. Basically any "special" versions of standard airframes used for recce, testing, AEW or other special purposes - the older the better! Max of four shots this time as I have four that I want to put...

It may not be camo, but at least it is/was active! Middle Wallop 1984 - excuse the quality, cheap film, cheap lens and Zenit E was never a good mix! https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/50185925771_8e96610479_o.jpg G_AF_XN817_Argosy_A_EGVP_19840706_1S by Ralph Lunt Photography , on Flickr And from Ei...

Re: Noise reduction
Hi Stuart, I would concur with Trevor - you already have an answer in Nik. I use both Nik Dfine (an earlier version Dfine2 from its freebie Google days) and another (paid) product - NeatImage for noise reduction. There is very little difference between them as regards getting rid of blue-sky noise b...

Re: Social Distance Spotting
"You can sit in the sun in your local park" When you go outside you may visit your local park but only with members of your own household. All seems fairly understandable to me and commonsense (sadly lacking I agree) should indicate that 'social distancing" should still be applied! To be honest thi...

Re: Social Distance Spotting
the law hasn't changed though. It is still an offence to be out of your property without reasonable excuse. Quite. It is just that the list of "reasonable excuses" has increased and now (as of Wednesday 13th May) includes "as well as exercise, people can now also spend time outdoors subject to: not...

The 8th April 2017 saw the much anticipated Gazelle 50th Commemorative Fly-in at Middle Wallop. Generally a good event and great weather but made tricky by the light. Here are two different takes on the pair of French Army Gazelles as they hover-taxied out to the static display area... https://live....

Re: Photoshop CC 2020 error - warning!
No, it is a widely reported error impacting (I believe) all W7 users and some W10 users my W10 laptop installation is fine but my home PC (W7) is not. Adobe say that the workaround is to revert to the previous version 21.0.3 whilst they work on a fix - but no timeline as to when the fix will be avai...

Photoshop CC 2020 error - warning!
A word of warning for those using Photoshop Creative Cloud 2020 - the new version (out yesterday V21.1.0) has a serious bug in that various tools (lasso, marquee, clone stamp, smudge/blur, healing brush etc.) create an additional area of change that has nothing to do with the area you are selecting/...

Hi Tony,
I believe the Stuka is still in the restoration hangar - I was unable to gain access to that due to "health and safety" reasons.

HAF Open Days - Tatoi 08 & 09 November 2019.
