Thanks. I've booked Friday off work as I usually do just in case but at least I can try and relax at home instead

What time did the Tutor arrive please ? Tweet regarding its arrival was published at 12:13 so roughly around that time. Thanks for the info. Thanks. I was told yesterday by a local that a C17 recently did full landings or touch and go's in the dark with no lights. Don't know how accurate the info i...

Re: Abingdon Air & Country Show 2017
It was a paper exercise by the previous DE personage to limit types using the airfield, however when a C17 / C130 uses the main runway just 2 months ago, which I might add is inspected yearly by the RAF,there's no arguement and the licence altered to cater for jets again, albeit I will limit to certai...

Weren't jets banned from landing here a few years ago (runway unsuitable or some such reason - probably discussed on this forum at the time and I haven't searched) ? I hadn't realised they were now allowed and hadn't twigged from the list of aircraft due to appear. What time did the Tutor arrive ple...

Old Tower willl know for certain, but afaik there hasn't been airfield access for arrivals and departures in recent years at least (unless you're working there of course).

Thought I'd book a ticket online but I'm getting a website bandwith exceeded message.
Is the list above deliberately blurred ?
ZF289, ZF240 and VH-SCW also arrived this afternoon.

Re: Blackbushe Air Day 30/7
I was unable to get there until late afternoon. Arrived car park circa 15:35 and thought I saw a Stearman leaving as I parked. I got to the airfield as XF690 was about to leave static. Only 18 aircraft/gliders in static (including XF690) when I arrived so wondering what I missed.

Thanks. I had however already seen that.
I went today and ended up by The Swan. I'm sure there were some people at Eelmoor.

I'm enquiring re trade days only. As someone who has always used Eelmoor in the past (usually after a long walk from parking the car), can someone guide me as to alternatives please. I've spent an hour or so searching online and only come up with Southwood Pavilion,to the North, but assume that this...

Re: Abingdon 2016 - 1st May 2016
Hi everyone, I want to finish by praising the public for not congregating as "secondary crowds". We had a small group at the northern crash gate under the 230m line at first (despite the closing of the road - which incidentally cost Neil £2000), but a police officer persuaded them to move...

Are any arrivals/rehearsals (even departures) due on Friday or Saturday this year (I presume there will be arrivals for the photoshoot) and if so are times available please ?
Will G-TVAL be doing a flypast (G-HBOB no longer in use ?) if not on call ?
(Will it be snowing ? )
Thanks in advance.

Totally agree with Gareth V.
Whilst my preference for aircraft lies with modern military, overall this has been one of my preferred events for a few years.
My usual suggestion for something different if available - a Nanchang CJ-6A or two !!
