Re: New show date 18th October Season finale?

At the most recent one you were allowed to walk around the site and the flight line before the show started and there were a couple of stools set up, I didn't wander over there to see what they were. The house was open for a tour as was the Swiss Garden, which was also open for a general wander and...

Re: Vintage Air Day Sun 6th Sep

It was my first time at Shuttleworth and I thought it was really good. Also I loved the drive-in situation. Having you own personal space right by your car was so much more pleasurable rather than scrums along the flightline.

Do we know what the deal is with kids entry?
Does a car entry get you 2 adults and 2 kids?
Can't see it mention kids prices anywhere on the site

The website shows this show as a drive-in now, but I can't find where to get tickets from. Are they not on sale yet?

Re: Drive-in airshows?

I'm sure the only reasons we left the car at Mildenhall was for the loo and to get burgers And miss the chance to get up close with a Blackbird dripping fuel, a B-1, a row of Phantoms and Lightnings, a Tomcat, etc etc etc? I was young and didn't appreciate it as much as I would now. Quick skirt aro...

Re: SeaWorld San Diego

Lovely photos, I enjoyed a trip there last year. Will be going to Sea World in Orlando next year. They do a lot of good work, its not all about performing orcas, but people seem to have a total blind spot when it comes to killer whales in captivity. A lot of 'animal lovers' I know are perfectly happ...

Re: RIAT 2019

I know this argument comes up every single year, but it still seems utterly ridiculous to me. RIAT is, without (much) question - the greatest airshow in the world. It's the kind of thing that people travel from all over the world to attend and costs about the same as many, many other decent days ou...

They've done that break a few times this year instead of the standard run-in and break. Seen they've done it when arriving back at Scampton on occasions.

Re: Jersey 2018

I enjoyed it, was my first visit (coincided with a week's holiday). Nice to get up normal time, and walk to the display area and hardly anyone still be there at midday.

Glad I saw most of the practice displays in decent light. Quite a lot of the afternoon ones will be silhouettes.
