Re: Trump alert

i don't like the bloke. but as long as his presence doesn't impact the show or my enjoyment of it i'm not bothered. i don't think a few of us giving up our tickets on principle is really going to make much of a difference. Actually I would hope that it would be taken very seriously by DBH if people...

If it goes to Bruntingthorpe it will probably be parked in the open, deteriorate, fade then be painted pink Only been to Bruntingthorpe once, about 6 years ago, and although I am sure they do their best! I wasn't too impressed with the external condition of some of the larger aircraft there. http:/...

Re: Bring them back

With regards to stuff being too technical like the phantom & buccaneers etc would it not be possible to strip a lot of the "technical" stuff out that's not needed these days so you are left with a airframe with just the essentials needed to make certification by the CAA easier?

She described people abandoning their cars everywhere - “in laybys, and by the side of the road” and saw an elderly man forced to “lift the bonnet of his car and urinate in the engine as there was nowhere private for him to go”. Seriously...Who gets out of their car in traffic, lifts the bonnet and p...

Fantastic write up! I'd highly recommend the CWJ open days.Getting your face taken off by a lightning and your ears blown inside out by the VC10 becomes an addiction after your first visit! :)

Shame the organisers haven't added a jet fighter. A hunter would be ideal! Too many small pissy propeller jobs! The line up is stacked with them.

ZD241 owned by GJD and staying with the CWJ collection
ZA147 Used as spares for ZD241

Spent all day in the naughty fields to the east of Duxford.the school was open for parking. After paying to park and some breakfast I'd already saved £66 ! And to top it all off I had a stonking view! Didn't see any IWM staff at all.

Why do Duxford insist on starting their airshows at 2pm.6hours waiting time is pushing anyone's patience.Just wondering if there was an official reason for it.

I very much doubt the vc10 will be allowed to fly back out even though it only landed a little while back and RAF guys are still current. So the chances of it being moved by road from cornwall...
