Re: COVID-19: Your Thoughts and it's effects on you.

Given that schools are open re Key Workers etc, I wonder if the school was closed the following day for deep cleaning? I can't get my head around this story. It's quite astonishing that anyone at the school - any school - would allow this to happen at the moment. Regarding cleaning the school thoug...

He also go fired from his job as Defence Secretary for a leak (which he denied). I have never seen such a dull, monotonous, uninspiring person in my ...

Re: COVID-19: Your Thoughts and it's effects on you.

It's clear that Williamson is both incompetent (blame the person who promoted him) but worse doesn't want the education job in the first place and isn't putting in much effort. He isn't putting in any effort Iain! It's a proper 'skewering' for sure, although it never sits easy with me when you see ...

He may not be perfect (I'm sure he won't be) but by heck Biden is going to be so, so much better.

I wonder if cheese and onion or smoky bacon crisps count?
Are you getting worried there might be a shortage?

Or is that how you managed to retire at such a young age Iain - running an illegal crisp smuggling racket? It's ok, I expect you can still route them through Ireland... :ninja:

Re: Presidential Election 2020

what amazes me about his cry about free speech here is that he is president. he can hold a presser whenever he wants, or go on the news. what makes me laugh about these people who go on like "the left are anti free speech" is that they do so from social media, their blogs, vlogs, radio, tv etc........

While I am here, please can I blow a massive raspberry at Gavin Williamson. My theory is, that with his level of incompetence, he is only in the cabinet to make the rest of the Ministers look exceptionally good and talented. He doesn't even succeed at that. Ha! Still, at least he doesn't have an im...

Suggestions yes, but also, if you can be bothered to read them, not as woolly as some would like is to think: "meaning avoiding travelling outside of your village, town or the part of a city where you live". I have been bothered to read the guidance and still think terms such as you should “avoid t...

And actually, what we need is more policing of the guidelines to help those sightly deficient in brain cells understand them. You make an interesting ideological point. The purpose of Covid rules is to attempt to prevent the spread of the virus. This is best achieved by not coming into contact with...

Both! In defence of the police in the case that got in to the news, the guidelines do clearly state you should exercise and go out but stay local, in your village, town or city. You may not agree with the rules (I don't particularly think this makes sense as i almost invariably come close to more pe...
