Re: Jersey 2019- 12th September

No Skyraider then :-( guess I should have waited until the official list came out, i was going by the list here. https://www.military-airshows.co.uk/ven24.htm
Still, at least there is 1 aircraft I have not seen yet, the Sabre.

I'm happy about the Chippies! I always love it when theres a Chipmunk at an air display becuase it gives me the opportunity to say " I learnt to fly in one of those" of course thats a a bit of an exaggeration" but it sounds better than I had a few minutes at the controls when I was an...

A rare visitor to my local airport

11/12/2017 SOU/EGHI Antonov An-26. First one I have seen! And after it departed we got another interesting one come in, well interesting for this airport at least, only the second time a Airbus A321 has been here, I went up in the morning to watch the departure. https://farm5.staticflickr.com/4588/3...

Couple of pics of George H.W. Bush and Hawkeye enquiry

Took a trip to see the aircraft carrier yesterday, I was mainly interested in the Hawkeyes as I have not seen that type before, in one of my images I notice one of them appears to have a slightly different radome, is this a different Hawkeye version or just down to the angle of the radome? https://f...

Greece

Hi, does anybody know when the Hellenic air force are retiring their Phantoms. I really hoped to get a photo of one airborne at RIAT on departures day but was at the wrong end of the runway so all i got was a blurry image of the back end of a Phantom. I am considering a trip to Greece next year, it ...

I saw some planes at RIAT

Really I just wanted to thank some of the staff at this years show for helping me. I have autism, well it's Aspergers but thats a mild form of autism, a series of events led to me becoming a little distressed on departures day, which caused me to nearly have a meltdown. I went for the Sunday and Mon...

I intended to be on the last ever flight out of SOU , when I booked it I specifically requested that it was the last ever one from SOU, and at the time they had that listed as occurring on the 30th so I went ahead and booked it, i asked one of the check in staff if they could confirm it was the last...

Re: FRIAT Seating Plan 2017

Not sure if this is the right thread to post in but it does involve seats. I was thinking of bringing my own seat but a friend said that there are already seats there, I knew there are areas with seating but you have to pay extra for them, the way my friend described it is that there are free seats ...
