I am just thinking of those hurt and killed in yesterday's attack, violence for any twisted ideology is never ever going to be tolerated by 99.9% of people. I am proud to be from the London area, proud to both work in London, and visit London for pleasure. I am truly proud of the people that make Lo...

I remember being told with old aircraft if you cannot see oil under it, there is probably no oil in it. Or as an older gentleman put it "old things leak".

Re: Flying Legends 13.7.19

Great set of photos Ian, they are brilliant. It is interesting to read about your disappointment with Legends this year as this year was the first time since 2001that I have not gone to a Legends show. I cannot explain exactly why as it was not just one reason, but I just did not feel inspired by th...

Re: Flying Legends 2019

Considering the long connection between The Fighter Collection and Dan Friedkin/Comanche Fighters the last few days have seemed very strange, I hope both Hun Hunter and Berlin Express are not leaving the UK yet and we will get a display from Berlin Express somewhere. I hope there is a chance For the...

So are they both being taken back to the USA or is there any hope of them displaying in the UK at all. They would be very welcome at Biggin Hill next month.

Re: Flying Legends 2019

There is probably a story we are not aware of regarding Berlin Express and Hun Hunter. It does seem unusual that they have been flown to Biggin Hill, previous USA based aircraft have always arrived/departed either under their own power or in crates straight to and from Duxford. Surely if could not d...

Re: Flying Legends 2019

Really saddened to hear the Berlin Express and Hun Hunter have both departed Duxford, seems such a shame BE never did a full display at Legends. I really hoped to see her fly and it feels a bit like being robbed that she is leaving just before the best warbird show in Europe. I hate to say it as I h...

Re: Daks Over Normandy - June 2019

Firstly I still think the event was really special and seeing so many Dc-3's/C-47's in one place is something I will never forget. I attended the event as a way to pay tribute to both of my Grandfathers and their generation who served on D-day/World War II, not in Dakota's, but this event seemed app...

Re: Flying Legends 2019

With yet another UK based Spitfire announced; even I have to admit to being a little nervous that we may see a below-par show. With no visitors as such announced yet you can see this line up by attending a couple of UK shows, especially the DX BoB show. I'm clinging to hope that something spectacul...

As the title suggest I would be interested to see which Airshow stands out as the best that you have attended. Mine would have to be RIAT 1997. The weather was glorious, the mix of aircraft was outstanding and the B2 surprise landing was the cherry on top of the cake. A simply fantastic show. Thank...

I am going to this event both days, I can't miss 30+ Dakota's on the ground and in the air. I was going to go to Cosford Airshow, taking place a few days later, but I couldn't afford to go to both events, so went in favour of this, once in a lifetime possibly event. It's all about Leicester City, the chairman, and footie. Several others died in that accident, they're all human, they all have families. The press should hang it's head in shame...
