Will be great if that is the case. Have you got a source?

Rest of the line-up looks a tad thin for this time of year.

Re: Bournemouth Air Festival 2018

Just been confirmed that a Tornado will be opening the festival at 2:30 today (Friday). It may just be a run past, no further details given) but at least something will be making some nice noise today. EDIT Apparently it will just be a flypast with the Tornado at 1000ft, so not much to get excited ...

Re: RIAT 2018 discussion

Well , the Frecce today . Awesome. . When they can do their high show, in my opinion they are the best in the world. The early evening light adds so much atmosphere too. Just perfect. Did they do the 9 ship cross over?? Didn't yesterday.. When you say 9 ship cross over is that the one after the spl...

Re: RIAT 2018 discussion

Back home after a really easy trip out via green route. That's the first time I've seen frecce tricolori and I have to say they were my highlight of the day. Flanker was a bit low over the hangers on it's slow pass. Horrible feeling in my stomach during that bit but apart from that a fantastic displ...

Re: RIAT 2018 discussion

Well this f35 display is about as tight as a 90 year olds you know what! Considering that i thought we were only getting 3 flypasts i thought it was rather impressive we got to feel the force of the F135 engine! Not complaining. Agree it was a great noise and there were some tight turns. Just seeme...

Good point about cooling down. Just wouldnt make for good photos/ video of the flyover though unfortunately as due about 2pm. Re: RIAT 2018 discussion

I'm really looking forward to RIAT this year. RAF100 aside I personally think it's still a brilliant line up and definitely worth paying the £50 to see. It unimaginable the amount of effort that must go in to organising such an event. Just out of interest how many people are involved at DBH to organ...

Re: RIAT 2018 discussion

Still no MiG-29. Very disappointing once again by DBH. Nothing really coming from the Asian countries either of any interest. Guess they didn't want to reciprocate the visit the Reds made to them a while back. All in all a very disappointing air show, and I'm very pleased that I haven't paid anythi...

Re: First F35s to Marham 5th June

Is anybody else suffering from a sudden and unexpected case of F-35 fever? I was amongst the least enthusiastic about this aircraft, but suddenly feel an unusual thrill at the thought of them being in our air force... how bizarre. I hate to say it but you're not the only one. Never thought I'd say ...
