Re: Abingdon Air(show) & Country Show 2021
Are you still going with the heli-meet and fly-in Neil, or are you back to a regular airshow? Who knows what i will have lined up for you over the coming months but it won't b...

The newly refurbished AV8 restaurant will be open and we have re-positioned the Hunter T7 from its grass parking area near the tower, to concrete hardstanding to the front right of the tow...

Re: Abingdon air and Country show 2019 - 5th may
We apart from one year have always been the first early May bank holiday. Its up to Shuttleworth if they choose that weekend (who put on multiple events per year). A bit of a silly comment. They've been holding Flying displays on the first Sunday of the month at Old Warden for well over 40 years. T...

Re: Farnborough International Airshow 2018
The only highlights for me were Spanish Harrier, and a feisty F16 demo, which was the US West coast demo team, something that wasn't mentioned in the build up PR.
A shame a once great show has unfortunately declined.

Ok - my perspective as a fellow airshow organiser of some 19 years experience now (Abingdon) - I know Tom and I know some of the team at DBH, and I also know just how much work goes into trying to make a show work. I went on the Sunday and I enjoyed it personally, however, it is getting increasingly...

Re: Abingdon Air & Country Show 6 May 2018
I have to say last years 'recommended group' were not recommended by me to anyone else! Thats why we have split into two gates, one for advance which should see speedier entry / exiting, and cash on the day at Gate A. We have also got the original all adult company back in to collect the cash on the...

Frank
