ADS-B is wrong! Do NOT believe the serials you see on these military radar sites.

Have some more Buffs gone into FFD on top of the Six there?
No.

2 night-stopped elsewhere last night and have just got back to Fairford along with the pair that went out this afternoon for a short exercise over the North Sea.

That's correct, one of the RAF Poseidons from Kinloss (ZP802) was doing low level surveillance for a couple of hours over the English Channel just like what the A400M was doing. Politics got in the way so the others didn't notice!

I've heard that they'll approach from the East and be over Edinburgh Castle at 11.30L, then turning left in the direction of Prestwick (to avoid EDI airport).

Re: Annual Leave on the East Coast - July 2020

Thanks, 12Sqn will eventually be both a QRA and an Aggressor squadron. However for now its a joint squadron with Oman and is training its pilots ready for taking delivery of its own Typhoons. Hence the UK and Omani flags on the squadron badge. 12 Sqn are training Qatari pilots and not Omani, Andy. ...

Re: BA retires entire Boeing 747 fleet

Just to add my 2p - I doubt the runway is long enough to land at Duxford. The B-52 arrived prior to the M11 when the runway was longer, and there’s a claim that even with that it was the shortest runway a B-52 has ever landed on. That's incorrect, the Concorde landed before the M11 was built but th...

Some sort of issue with a Ryanair flight from Krakow to Dublin apparently, it's now parked in a remote area at Stansted and the Typhoons have gone to their tanker for fuel in case another shout happens.
