This whole thing sounds mad to me, but do real RBF tags actually still have 'Remove before flight' stencilled on them?

XW214 and XW224 are showing on ADSB at present, though both have taken different routes it seems. Only 5 flew over south Lincoln about 11:30 ish. Heading away from Scampton in a Southerly direction. XW214 was a late launch catch up. He had joined the others to make a 10 ship flypast at Scampton. Th...

Re: RAF Display Typhoon 2021

From what I gather from another forum, it was a IX(B) squadron aircraft painted up in an aggressor style black scheme. Pictures of it are around complete with the green bat on the tail, and codes. Looks far classier in my opinion. That's correct, it was repainted into the black 'aggressor' colour s...

Cirrus SR22s are fitted with a ballistic parachute which have already saved quite a few lives. I'm not sure if it's an optional extra and certainly can't be cheap, but well worth having onboard if you're having a bad day.

The 150 aircraft involved will operate from RAF Lossiemouth, Prestwick Airport and Stornoway Airport.
A few of them will but certainly not 150!!! - most of them will operate from ships and other airfields that are not in Scotland.

Re: The Angry Thread...

The widespread use of apostrophes in plurals on social media and forums, it's absolutely everywhere and doing my brain in! Did primary schools give up teaching this a few years ago? When I was in Primary 1 (could have been P2!) we were taught that the plural of cat was cats and not cat's. So stop it...
