windy.com is also what many look at. Friday <1000ft at times in fact.

Im not specifically, it's a classic low with a warm then cold front with troughs behind. No way it's going to be much above only 1000ft for the most of that time (Friday at least).

This is very educational.

To me Friday is a shocker, doubt any flying, Saturday half will be written off or at best low level circuits. Sunday the best. All due to cloud base and visibility not purely the wind.

Not even going to open that from that lot! Met office site.....drag the rainfall radar across to Saturday and you can see middle of day Saturday a wash out for a few hours. Sunday much better.

I dont know why people look at anything other than met office. Social media posts and the good old BBC, last I saw they were a news channel and not experts in weather

Oh dear, click forward to the last picure which shows an ok Friday. Then look at those fronts going to cross over the weekend.

Drag the rainfall radar slider on the met office site to Saturday and you'll see a forecast of it all. Basically very small in diameter very heavy showers. That for me is no worry at all. Anyway Just Oil will disrupt it all probably.

Also met office forecast for Fairford Saturday is 60% showers with sun inbetween, so it's not going to be grim with a slow moving front wiping out the whole day.
