Personally I think the team at Bruntingthorpe (owner + volunteers) do a fantastic job at keeping these aircraft running and accessible to the public on open days and Sundays. They deserve our full support. I have no problem at all with the £20 ticket price and I have a high level of confidence that ...

I have chipped in and I would miss UKAR. Let's find a way to keep it going. It would help to know the ballpark running costs. Another website I manage costs almost nothing to run (£12 per year domain name registration, £60 per year hosting cost), i guess it's also traffic dependent.

Fabulous day ! Spectacular plumes of spray behind the larger jets. Sadly our party had to leave somewhat early as my elderly father was struggling with the conditions. Just seen on lightnings.org.uk "The Cold War Jets Open Day scheduled for Sunday 27th August has had to be cancelled. This caused by the sheer number of cars currently on the Airfield."

Buccaneer XV350 is at East Midlands Aeropark, and looking in fine condition when I visited last weekend.
