Re: Is Totterdown bad for RIAT

I'm flattered you got a screenshot. Your beligerance over deliberate misquoting is far beyond my realms of giving an actual hoot . Otherwise, I'd have cut n pasted you. But, my main point was and is...you were saying that Totterdown should close because of active avoidance, were you not? The Reds at...

Re: Is Totterdown bad for RIAT

Andy, What? No juvenile clown insults this time? Bless. To suggest that Totterdown should shut down, because of active avoidance during repositioning is kinda indicative of your stance. I guess you are not a fan then? I have seen pre and post Shoreham restriction displays both inside and outside of ...

Re: Is Totterdown bad for RIAT

Boff180/Andrew ,just catching up with the pros/cons on this thread. I've met you at the approach end of a runway before, as with a fair few others here. You knew of a potential risk and pilots knew you were there during a critical phase of flight. Are you not part of the same 'problem' you are point...

Baxterley Wings and Wheels cancelled.

Haven't seen it posted before, so, just to advise, that this wonderful little show has been cancelled following the very sad and sudden loss of it's host and organiser, Ken Broomfield.

A lovely chap who had aviation in his blood, will be sorely missed.

Re: Thomas Cook hangar

It's fairly common for other airlines to use each other's facilities. Thomson had a 767 in there a couple weeks back for a leg seal change. Monarch's hangar may have been full and Thomas Cook's mahoosive hangar regularly has space in the summer, for 'casualty' or AOG aircraft. Maintenance cooperatio...

He did a good job on this one and this apple didn't fall far from the tree, Andy.

We live close to Land Rover's plant in Solihull. We can see the plant in the distance from our back bedrooms (BHX too)

G-EWIZ . I remember taking those very cowlings off a Boeing 767, gingerly driving them to the staff car park and carefully placing them in Rich's car. (Handled like eggs, guv!)

He will probably tell you, he treats me as his personal taxi/limo service .....the cheeky get.
