Hi Rich
I didn't know you were into dogging. Seriously, a great set under adverse conditions.

Re: wet warton

I like the prop blur in no. 2. As you're a Honder rider, can I assume these were taken without a ladder? I'm hoping to make my first visit to Warton next week.

Great set, Rich. I guess in the wonderful world of Tesco no.6 would be known as "bogof." Okay, not very funny but every little helps.

Another fine set, Rich.

I've been put off DD by the A303 roadworks and diversions. Any problems?

More of Yeovilton's Harriers 27-01-10

Encouraged by MerlinJon's post of yesterday, I paid my first visit of 2010 and arrived just in time for a grab shot of the Harrier pair disappearing into the wide grey yonder. http://davidholman.smugmug.com/photos/774874538_3tSPN-XL.jpg But the light seemed to be improving, so I moved around to the ...

Rich, I'm sorry to say I dipped out with the Cotty Gate Guard. Either through camera shake or faulty focus, it just goes to show the importance of taking a back up shot when possible.

Even more from sunny Coningsby 04-06/01/2010

My first outing this year also happened to be my first visit to Coningsby, and I was lucky to be in the company of the experienced and knowledgeable Mr Pittman. As Rich says, nothing happened during the morning but in the afternoon there was plenty of Typhoon activity at the 25 end. http://davidholm...

Cold Corris Corner 17-12-09

On Thursday I made my first visit to Corris Corner, hoping for a last flurry of activity before Christmas closures. At 0908 there were a couple of passes from this Hawk. As can be seen from the canopy reflection, the sun had yet to clear the horizon so I was forced to use iso1600, and never having s...

On what turned out to be a relatively quiet day at Yeovilton today, I did manage to get three airborne machines in the same frame . . . http://davidholman.smugmug.com/photos/738216457_ZWPYQ-XL.jpg and caught a visitor departing to Valley. http://davidholman.smugmug.com/photos/738216505_9Q7gd-XL.jpg ...

Slow day at Yeovilton 17-11-09

I say slow because, being lured out by a fine day at last, I decided to try use a shutter speed of 1/125th where possible to increase prop and blade blur. First up, a couple of the regulars. http://davidholman.smugmug.com/photos/717260826_TqVnh-XL.jpg http://davidholman.smugmug.com/photos/717260848_...
