Re: COVID-19: Your Thoughts and it's effects on you.

A quite incredible moment from Drakeford. Extraordinary in its frankness. I think tensions between the more cautious devolved administrations and England are beginning to boil over.

Still... anyone going to the pub?

Re: Big jet TV YouTube channel

It seems that some do have an axe to grind, it also appears (not so much on here, but certainly on social media) that he has some equally devoted fans who think he can do no wrong. Personally, I’m not that interested in live-streaming of this sort of nature, but I’m not sure I begrudge those that do...

Your average punter values being entertained over someone who never makes a mistake ( who doesn't? ) but does not make them laugh
A fair point. What jokes does he tell?

Re: Big jet TV YouTube channel

Is it true that Big Jet TV claimed that the BBMF crashed one of their Hurricanes at Shoreham during his live stream at Coningsby?

Presumably confusing the BBMF planes with the Brian Brown accident.

Boris’ pathetic response to an MP earlier this week who raised that exact question was to simply “show some guts”.

It seems to me to be quite an awful thing to say to wish that anyone, no matter how foolish, suffer from the virus.

Re: Boris Force One?

I think it looks nice! Only change I'd make is to have ROYAL AIR FORCE in blue along the top, instead of UNITED KINGDOM. https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/50043952346_bcb24ada1d_h.jpg ZZ336 / Royal Air Force / Airbus Voyager KC3 by Peter Reoch , on Flickr It’s pretty nice, I must say. Re: Culture Wars

You never had to tie your shoelaces? I was going to say no as I wear slip on's  But seriously after thinking about it, I won't say never but I tend to find a wall or chair to bring my foot up to tie shoe laces, especially nowadays as the bones are starting to creak a bit. Hah yeah fair. Or ma...

Re: Culture Wars

I completely take that aboard, but I’m not arguing against any other slogans. I haven’t said one thing about the banner or any of those other slogans. My point is simple; saying “black lives matter” is not an expression that other lives do not matter - no one (no one serious, anyway) has ever said t...

Re: Culture Wars

"All lives matter." Of course they do, but again, that’s not the point, is it. When your other half asks “do you love me?” Did you always say “I love everything! I love all things. I love everything that exists”. No, of course not. Because, and we need to be clear about this because it’s the root o...

Re: Culture Wars

Another point I would like to make is this bend the knee or whatever they call it, because I refuse to do such action I'm classed as a racist. But due to my upbringing and *cultural heritage* I would only ever do that for 2 people, my intended and the Queen/King of England. You never had to tie you...

Re: Culture Wars

Re the Black Lives Matter thing - yes of course all lives matter. But that’s not the point. No one is saying that *only* black lives matter, which is what a lot of people are translating it as. It’s a movement set up *because* of the systemic racism of US police forces disproportionately killing bla...

Re: Culture Wars

It’s easy to believe that the nation is entrenched in either one “side” or the other, but actually it’s far from it. I think that this is in part due to social media companies encouraging controversies to be spread far and wide without any nuance. People react in black and white to things in real ti...
