Re: "The British Airshow in Terminal Decline" - discuss

Lets be quite frank - air shows have got boring due to lack of aircraft types and manufacturers and high costs. Farnborough is turning more into a classic fly in, I dont have to go to there and pay silly money to see an A380 when I can go to Myrtle Ave. An F16 is still an F16 be it in Belgian/Dutch ...

Re: Polish An-2 farewell - air to air

I always look forward to your posts Bartek - I know you have the good fortune of making air 2 air shots but I always enjoy the perspectives and clarity you achieve ( Slightly jealous). The An2 has a soft spot for me as I did a series of jumps from them when I was working in Russia, before I damaged ...

Re: New Chinese Fighter; the "Lightor"

Wow what an amazing thread - would agree with most of the posts the J20 looks pants and doesnt compare to the Russo Indian PAK or the F22. The new Lightor looks like its a typhoon mated with the rear end of an F16 and to finish off the tail of the Mirage 2000 glued on. As always masters of reenginee...

Nothing out of the ordinary, maybe. But beautifully taken and framed - really like the fuselage reflections on some of them, especially like the B752 with the Peaks in the background.

Re: 309th AMARG overflight 01-04-2011

Have spent ages pouring over this fantastic set - well done. Pictures like these always leave a tinge of sadness at all the old girls parked up. The F111 shots made me think why the Ozzies couldnt have transferred over their F111's instead of burying them in the back of beyond. More please....

Gorgeous - great pics, lovely scheme would have looked even better on a B744 or B773 so as to give the special liveried Etihad planes a run for their money!
