Re: Last Duxford flying day 2021

Very nice selection here without too much evidence of the tricky/hazy lighting.
Lysander in first shot is superb. :ok_hand:

Re: REMUS 01 Flight - RAF Fairford 6th October 2021

Guessing the people on this Forum mainly don't like a cracking B-1 shot or two? :astonished: Your shots are the finest I've seen from yesterday Stu'. Clearly a well-prepared shooting location that had no foreground garbage & included the 'signature' Fairford trees. Great work! :sunglasses: :ok_hand:

Re: Abingdon Air(show) & Country Show 2021

Very accurate & fair report on the Event. The Organising Team really do deserve catch a break with their 'indicated' participation from the RAF Display Allocations Team? The local bases do seem reluctant to help-out in any way by either static or flying contributions. I'm afraid that Chinook showing...

Nice to see the alternative views from the other-end. Russian Spit' is great, but B-17 edges it for me as my favorite shot due to the cloudscape.

Re: Bournemouth Air Festival 2021

Great that the 'updates' on Twatter didn't mention the fact that the scheduled start had been brought forward by 30 minutes. As I'm a 'glass completely empty' type of optimist, is the Lancaster ever leaving Duxford? Why don't we have a Chinook display that could half-fill the void left by the BAF A-...

Great set of photo's. From this showing your choice of equipment has been verified by the quality of the images! Best for me are #4 Sea King & Whirlwind solo that are razor sharp from front to rear.

Good to see Norman, I seem to recall they moved the 1984 show into June to catch the Thunderbirds, who also went to Upper Heyford show. I think it was televised as well with the chap off That's Life, Chris thingamyjig. Certainly a great show sorely missed. Good memories. I think that Presenter was ...

Re: Ryanair Flight 'diverted'

Whilst I appreciate that a fully-armed pair of fighter-jets signalling & persuading you to alter course can be compelling, I can't help but feel the Ryanair jet only a few minutes from the Lithuanian Border was a little too compliant? On the basis that no official reason for the intercept was given...
