You certainly picked the best location/light of the day with 'The Stig's' cousin at the door! Great shots.

Re: No Tutor Display 2021
Wow! I can't believe I missed this breaking news. Where exactly were these breathtakingly underexuberent Tutor displays scheduled for? Before the daggers start flying, I appreciate the skill & finesse of the flying but the size of the aircraft / display distance from the watcher at most venues make ...

Very sensible! I don't believe there is a sum of money that could convince me to go to Portugal this year, even if the option existed!
I don't think the majority of other countries Worldwide will 100% complete their vaccination process by 2021 year end.

Re: Big jet TV YouTube channel
Simple current observation reference zooming in on USAF/RAF personnel. Assuming we are referring to maintainers/last-check, why aren't they wearing goggles/visors for H&S + Covid masks? If it's flight-crew (more of an issue?) & they don't want to be 'seen' then do as the Israeli's did at Waddington ...

There was a camouflaged example of a GAF (Government Aircraft Factories) Nomad N24A in Australian AAC colours at Farnborough IAS flying in support of the replica Vickers Vimy UK to Australia flight around 1994 Found this linked photo. I believe he is the Sole Proprietor of BJTV & as such generates a personal income from it, AKA Work! Under current rules you are allowed to travel for/to work if you cannot do it from home. Therefore, despite the hatred shown towards this Guy his 'work' allows him to do what he does IMO. I personall...

Another example of why people shouldn't really pee their pants just because the Red Arrows are relocating to Waddington for a few weeks? Those ACMI Days were absolutely magic & your selection shows the variety of shots to be had from basically one location on one day! I...

I can see the need for a Norman & Pauline Skinner Memorial Vulcan Run as soon a possible after Lockdown ends? Sounds very much that they laid the foundations for a strong VRT that must continue in their honour & for the existing Members. Never knew the deceased but can't wait to see their Legacy run...

Why would countries who've barely seen any deaths send crews to a country that has allowed 110,000 ( My Edit ..& still rising!) people to die? Vaccine or no vaccine, I wouldn't be willing to make that call this year. Exactly the point I would make. The focus of most all comments here are 'would we ...

When the 'Trumpeter' & other Leaders went to Caen-Carpiquet Airport for D-Day Anniversary the perimeter zone was locked-down, but that was the Inflexible French Gendarmerie! Fairford, when the infamous 'Stonehenge Tour' delayed the AF1 departure was a fairly relaxed affair with the English Police (w...

The Chinese certainly need a bigger Cargo-hub for their larger future exports of hideous viruses?
Given the current passenger projections for LHR going forward, it's currently hard to imagine how a third runway operational by 2028 can be justified.

Somehow missed this post previously. Great coverage & photography of the various events & locations. I was there for the 75th Anniversary period & only saw a fraction of what you have shown us. The Caen Carpiquet DC3 event was a complete shambles, even if the sun had been out.

Very good reasoning! Once they're scheduled for end of service, the weather & circumstances never provide opportunities to photograph them like this.
The first shot is 'stand-out', but shot 6 is my first pick favourite.

'Lucky Dip' my inquisitive buddy! Even the Organising Committee don't know the answers. Safe to say based on previous experience that Saturday tends to be better for content, serviceability & aircraft returning to Fairford to land ready for Sunday show. Aside from displays departing "off-slot" on Su...

Good News, but I remain very doubtful of any 'large gatherings' this side of 2021. The "social factor" of Duxford's provisions for a potential 80th BoB show in September 2020 are both laudable & laughable at the same time! PS:-I've done a few Helimeets previously, but never a 'Helmet' ?? Gotta love ...

Mantaining the 2 metre distancing at popular spotting / photography airfields will be problematic due to the increased weekday attendance of furloughed/newly redundant persons not usually able to go in the week! Added to that the sheer number of retired persons (aka 'Survivors') keen to make the mos...

Excellent series of photo's. I'm especially intrigued by the last shot which features 8454M/XP442-Argosy T.2 (Whistling T*t) evidently 'post augmentation' with a super nipple!!
