Re: RIAT 2019
I did P&V East on the Wednesday but want to have the "full experience". So, do you know where the reduced tickets are being advertised? As far as I'm aware, the £5 discount offer is only being made by email, to those who bought Friday tickets for this year; hence you won't see it adve...

Re: RIAT 2019
You wouldve thought they would at looking going back to the much reduced price for Friday. Ok, the weather was poor, so maybe some didnt buy last minute tickets, but I couldnt believe how dead it was. I hoped that that would make the organisers realise people just wont buy tickets at that price. An...

Re: RIAT 2019
They acknowledge the washout Friday and offer £5 off next years Friday display, its something but no way will I be booking tickets in advance anymore no matter the discount. In order to say sorry for the overpriced Friday this year, why not buy our overpriced 2020 Friday tickets and get £5 off... W...

Re: RIAT 2019
I do not understand this complaining: on Saturday we had 12 fast jet single displays (including the M346 and F-35 flypast), 5 acrobatic teams (3 equipped with jets, 2 with props). Ok, the Lancaster did not appear, NATO flypast was quite disappointing, but at least I could see F-15 in the air (which...

Re: RIAT 2019
This is the problem with modern online marketing, - people play fast and loose with facts, 99% of people dont actually care (why not 51 Air Arms? or 66?) and people who do actually care will be branded as "geeks" and a pain in the butt, rarely if ever, are corrections issued as tweets etc...

Re: RIAT 2019
IIRC the 9-ship manoeuvre requires aircraft coming from crowd rear. That requires special dispensation under the regs which (IIRC) can only be given to UK teams and then only 2 or 3 hold this including the Reds, BBMF and (I think) the Blades. The special dispensation must have also been given to th...

Re: Exiting car parks blue or green?
Was extremely easy getting out of the green car park yesterday, granted I didn't get back to the car until about 6:30 but by then it was almost empty so drove straight out and was back at Bath by 8pm

Re: RIAT 2019
Does someone know when the flypasts will take place tomorrow? On the RIAT site it says after the flypast the Blades will perform their display so should be around 1.45pm but of course the times in the programme are likely to change. As for the other unannounced flypast it’s anyones guess assuming a...

Re: Exiting car parks blue or green?
Thanks Luke, not going to be any better tomorrow with the Mig 21, Reds and Harriers seemingly the last 3 displays... If I have learnt anything from years of attending Yeovilton it’s that you better bring a book for the long wait to leave the car park. Fairford has always been better organised but s...

Yes excellent. WInds were a bit cheeky mid afternoon but compared to yesterday it was dream conditions.
I am glad for those that went that they got the weather the show deserved.

Did 2 fast, one with bays open, and a slow pass, no hover.
That is unexpected but I am sure they had a reason for it.

Could be the second special flypast they have been hinting out, the one last year on the Saturday and the one in 2017 on the Sunday were also unannounced.

Chinook demo also went tech.
So the Friday wasn’t a complete waste then as we got the Chinook display and a flypast from the E-3, no grounds to complain anymore

If it was only ‘damp’ maybe more aircraft should have been flying?
Rain wasn’t really that big an issue today it was the 800ft cloud base for the majority of the day that scuppered things.
