Re: September 27 Airshow: Drive-In-Airshow (de Havilland)

The infringement of air space was called out by one of the OW based aircraft that was in the air at the time, so lucky it wasn't 30 seconds later with the glider mid display

Re: Vintage Air Day Sun 6th Sep

That was my third event at OW this year and somehow have managed to more or less park in the same spot for all 3 (and that isn't a bad thing). The Stampes stood out, one did appear to get a little lost on one turn though, the light for the Spitfire and Hurricane was beautiful, did any one else notic...

Re: US trip costs

Was in Arizona, California and Nevada January, one thing to watch out for on hire cars is the lack of sat nav, I had to download the android app and link to the car. What I didn't release was that as I'd got power saving set on phone, the dam thing would turn itself off. ( Usually at a junction). Ma...

Re: Worst Airshow

I Had forgot about Seawings 2000 traffic at Southampton, heard afterwards it was taking 4 hours to get out car park on to road. I was parked at back of car park and noticed two or three cars driving the wrong way so followed them, a driver got out of one and removed the padllock on a barrier. I had ...

Re: Enthusiast Photography Events Discussion

TLE, not aircraft related but how can they charge £85 to go to a rally school to see 4 cars for the afternoon when you can go the WRC for 4 days for £99? They say tuition, but I'd want one to one for that price and my photos are thourghly average . With rallying a lot comes down to right place right...

St Athan was an off shoot of RAF museum in the 80,s . Drove from Staffordshire just to see the two seat FW190 run up that is now in Hendon so it seems as if the place is going full circle
