Re: What should I look for when buying a scanner?

Again, I thank you guy's for these replies, I am soon (Tomorrow or Friday) going to be in possession of my scanner, hopefully it'll be a walk in the park ,I've ordered serial lead too so it's going to be a bit of a learning curve, I may even give it, it's first airing this Sunday when the Reds are d...

Re: What should I look for when buying a scanner?

What should I look for when buying a scanner?

I'm at that stage where want and need has surfaced, I, like many aviation and photography enthusiast on here seem to be collecting more and more tech to take along to airshows, noting that some photographers are gaining an edge by knowing what's coming up ahead of the action, gaining them valuable s...

Departures

Has anyone got a Departures list, they wouldn't mind sharing, the Official Merch van had run out of them when I went to purchase one, he said was expecting to get some more printed.

Re: P&V catering - so which is correct?

There was no complaint from me about the price, I could clearly see what it was, my choice was exactly the same as anyone else "Take it or leave it", my complaint was being served stale bread.

Re: P&V catering - so which is correct?

drifting slightly away from the original thread, but today, I purchased 1 Coffee, 1 Chocolate and 2 Sausage rolls, the drinks were palatable, the rolls weren't, I had a feeling they were last Wednesdays leftovers, That's £10 "Healthy Burgers" made of which I'll never get back, but a positi...

In relation to the viewing village enclosure (Blue Central Flags 4 + 5), could someone tell me what the viewing field on the opposite side of the runway is?. Thanks.

Well Done Cosford.

Having read through umpteen threads criticising admission problems, lets not forget all those others who contributed both time and effort to help deliver a fabulous show, without their efforts, the show would most certainly not go on, a massive shout out to those two girls delivering bottled water t...

Re: Traffic management on M54 ... or lack of

Took advice from other members off this board and got there early, seems the difference of a meagre 10 minutes was a fantastic stroke of luck for me, sorry to see so many people were disappointed.

Re: Biggin Hill closer to returning

Would be great to see this return, the record attendance for this show was in 2008 when 70k attended, seeing 120k over 2 days, it was very popular until the decision by Biggin Hill Airport Limited to axe it in 2010 over safety risk amongst the reasons. Look at the other airshows scattered about the ...

I hope i'm right in saying that is good news, it doesn't return the dead, but if this information is accurate, it should prevent any further pilot deaths.

LOL All, I could Terry, I know this wasn't a good picture, I just used it for an example, but some of my better pics, where I have cropped in tight are ruined because of these green monstrositys, I plan to get there really early next year, that way I can avoid useless background clutter.

Re: Step ladders (again)

To be honest, I find the followers of this hobby utterly obnoxious. It's all about whose got the biggest and best camera and then it goes to who can post the best photo possible. It's not just at airshows, the nightshoots are a prime example of selfish obnoxious camera snobs... I believe those with...
