Re: G7 Summit Cornwall

What odds on there being a sudden Covid spike reported in the SW to allow them to lock down Devon and Cornwall to make security easier?

Re: Possible format for RIAT2021

Hopefully the new ovid compliant RIAT will require the removal of all grandstands and especially all chalets. Then we can get back to how it used to be with 10,000ft of 'lawn 'areas. The flip side of this will be that if we have to maintain 2m separation between everyone in the Red queue the back of...

And almost 80 years of disliking “Limeys”
His Twitter feed was always a good read - stereotypical 'Grandpa on social media for the first time' reading.

Many great achievements in this career but civility didn't seem to be a strong suit with him.

Put a top driver in the best car and the result is a foregone conclusion I agree. LH is undoubtedly an excellent driver but at no point in his career has he driven for a team that wasn't capable of winning races. I have much more respect for Michael Schumacher who left a championship winning team t...

Re: F1 ( and other motorsports ) 2020

The drivers are all moaning as the circuit was fully resurfaced only 2 weeks ago so the surface is still oozing bitumen from the tarmac. And today in final practice it was absolutely sheeting down with rain. No word as to whether quali will go ahead (its that bad apparently).

Re: BA retires entire Boeing 747 fleet

It is only a coat of paint !! Let's be thankful that somebody is thinking about saving it from the scrapman. If the 747 is still around in ten years time then will be the time to discuss what colour to paint it. ^^ This - you can paint any aircraft in any livery. More important to make sure you get...

Question I have thought of today, with football transfers happening at the moment, shouldn't those arriving from Spain etc be self isolating on arrival and therefore not completing medicals and deals etc?? Football is exempt from all things COVID. This was clearly illustrated on the BBC news when C...

My company has said that their interpretation of the Government rules on social distancing means they can have a maximum of 15% of the usual headcount back in the office from 1 October. I think they will struggle to find 15% who want to go back to be honest. Most people have loved WFH. No commute, s...

I think the poster was referring to the slow taxi runs Cosford did a few years ago.
