HMS Seahawk, Yes I did find the 771 hangar answer and it was nicely laid out. Unfortunately I think it was so far removed from the main part of the show that I don't think the majority of the public even knew about it. Hawk 161 is a returning airframe, [Swapped out for 187], we had it on FRADU years ago & sent it into storage pending a major service, now it's back with us on 736 [Formely FRADU].

all 14 will be done eventually, us engineers on 736 will get used to it at some point.
nose numbers will run from 840 to 854 inclusive, the 2 above are the first, note 205 was one of the 7 in 100 years of naval aviation scheme

IIRC most of the AEW nimrods were cut up at Abingdon I was based there on Bucc & Hawk majors when these all flew in.
scrapped because the radars couldn't be made to work correctly was part of the reason.

1 lynx & the wildcat dropped into Culdrose for fuel yesterday [friday 22/11] then contiinuned their trip home to Yeovvilton, the other 2 lynx didn't arrive, 1 was reported as u/s,

that S76 is NOT a RAF a/c, it's owned outright by Her Majesty, I've handled it at culdrose a few times when it visited, the crew told me it's not a military helo.
