Re: Echo Dot as a speaker?

I don't think you can. The 3.5mm jack is an output to connect a proper speaker instead of the pretend one the dot is fitted with.

Can't you just upload the music to Amazon and play it from there?

Re: Govenment survival pack for everyone.

We’ve had a bag by the door for years. It’s just a case of preparation, even if it’s just for something as simple as your house burning down. Hope it never comes in useful. I'm the same, it's not got much in in, just the essentials in case of an emergency: Copy of passport - on my phone Bit of mone...

Re: Exiting car parks blue or green?

Thanks Andy, yes more than aware of that, and also of the fact that different people in the same car park can have wildly different waiting times, but just wanted to know people’s thoughts of today’s exit. If you were at the far end of red then I know there were people queuing there before I got to...

Re: RIAT 2019 - Issues

I parked it red for the first time ever and I'm not surprised at the problems given they have two tiny entrances with the shuttle busses and other traffic crossing. No wonder it had issues, there's just too much going on there. Apparently things got a bit heated somewhere in the queue, at least from...

Re: How do you photograph Static Aircraft at an Airshow?

Close in long zoom shots of cockpits, tailfins etc.

Wide angle shots making the people part of the picture.

Displays shot over the static, I like to do this with the bigger display teams.

Re: Best route

Logically you should be on Green then, although if you stay on the A417 instead of coming off at the Burford Rd interchange (where the Travelodge is), you might be able to sneak onto the Blue route which means you enter the base near the middle of the showground, and which some people prefer for th...

Re: Best route

Similar question but I'm staying a bit further North at Stow-on-the-wold so could drop down to the green route which I am familiar with or the red. Is one route "better" for getting in or out, or should I just decide which end I want to arrive and depart from? I usually park at the green e...

Either way it looks like that top dick Gove is stepping in to ensure his country and BASC mates can continue blasting away by overruling the withdrawal so its all pretty moot. So the court case will be back on, which they know they will lose, which we will pay for. And people keep voting for these ...

Something he has achieved on a technicality over process in court, not that actual hunting them is illegal. You m...

You don't say what the incident was.

It could make a big difference if it fell off the coffee table or the side of a boat.

Re: Is anybody happy with the Brexit white paper?

These are remarkable times, there's no debate there and also stressful. In such times, people look for someone to blame. I blame May, you blame those who wanted to leave (the 52%). Other people blame Farage etc etc, it's tough. I blame every government for the last 40 years using Europe as a scapeg...

I would be interested to hear from the jury as to what they do consider manslaughter . The charge was manslaughter by gross negligence . It is not secure because your password can be read as it travels over the internet.

As long as you don't use the same password for other sites the only risk is someone will log in here as you.

PS interesting point about basing the Reds at Brize. One of the common complaints at Waddington was that the reds were based at Scampton most ...
