Boris will see it on Saturday, he's a bit slow on the uptake.

Re: COVID-19: Your Thoughts and it's effects on you.
Question I have thought of today, with football transfers happening at the moment, shouldn't those arriving from Spain etc be self isolating on arrival and therefore not completing medicals and deals etc?? Football is exempt from all things COVID. This was clearly illustrated on the BBC news when G...

Re: Sully question
I've just watched Sully for the first time. About 80% of passengers left the plane without life jackets. Was that true. I've heard that message so many times "In the unfortunate event that the plane comes down on water" I'm sure I would grab my lifejacket. If the film’s transcript follows the cockp...

Re: Movies!
What is the cinema experience like now? Wanted to go but was put off with having to wear a mask for 2+ hours. Then found out if you are eating you don't need to wear one so presumably everyone is just eating one piece of popcorn every 30 secs?? It was good, mask in the foyer but optional in the cin...
Re: Movies!
Tenet. If you like previous Christopher Nolan films you will like this although the old brain took a hell of a battering. It's a good example of why the cinema exists.

Re: Guy Gibson's Dog Headstone replaced
When will people realise that there are some truly awful cases of prejudice and racism across the world and token gestures like this will do absolutely nothing to make the world a better place. It was the dog's name and it will be in perpetuity. Removing it's name from a headstone will do nothing to...

Re: New Canon R cameras etc
What's different about the batteries that they are so expensive? are non-Canon ones available? The battery life is a challenge. I think camera manufacturers say to themselves "if we are charging a lot for the camera, it stands to reason we can charge a lot for the battery". No dig at Cannon here, t...

Re: New Canon R cameras etc
Interesting that for years I've heard DSLR users say that they will never go mirrorless because they couldn't live with the battery life. On a busy day at Duxford, I can come away with over 400+ images and still have 50% battery life showing which official tests state that the battery life for my a...

Re: New Canon R cameras etc
Interesting that for years I've heard DSLR users say that they will never go mirrorless because they couldn't live with the battery life. Now people are queuing up to buy these two canons with atrocious battery life when compared to just about all other mirrorless cameras and the batteries cost over...

Re: COVID-19: Your Thoughts and it's effects on you.
Take half an hour to listen to Radio 4s More or Less programme (broadcast this morning). The series has been looking at Covid stats for the last 14 weeks and the one today is using hindsight to explain decisions, looking at what has and hasn't worked and compares national reporting. it's a very bal...

Re: COVID-19: Your Thoughts and it's effects on you.
I went through some statistics for some volunteering I do at my club yesterday using the latest Public Health England data - they made for some scary reading. The current mortality rate for those infected in England is 16% 42% of cases have been in males The mortality rate for males is 22% In males...
