My view is that any MP defecting must by default secure a by-election on his or her new ticket. And any change in PM must by default trigger a general election . Not sure about that. You could ask for anybody who has c1965 Air Pictorials. They were advertised in just about every edition.

The Shorrock mark 6 was beautiful and what I would have wanted more than anything in the world. Unfortunately for a 12 year old schoolboy the £36 needed to buy one was a kings ransom. Two of my friends had one and one was still using his held together by tape forty years on.
