Re: Salmon Thirty Salmon
Second shot is stunning! I detect a hint of sarcasm regarding Norwich. Trouble is that if you see eight replies to a Norwich post six of them are usually from the person that put the post up due to a deep routed need to thank everybody that said something nice. My photos are simply there to share wi...

Pure class!i can think of many aircraft less 'sexy' than a cammo Auster and I think you have done extremely well to achieve some contrast between aircraft and ground.
After all that was and is the very reason for displaced pattern camouflage.

The Northrepps Aerodrome website has it down as 8/9th oh June which is obviously a typo.7/8th I presume.
Always nice to see Austers and Terriers so here's hoping the weather plays ball.

That first ones a bit of a fluke!
PA-22 in the shade (best lighting for anything white) and sunshine on the foreground and the trees in the background.
Not to say the rest are poor of course but that one is a bit special.

Superb set again.
With regards to your comments about being questioned by ATC I myself work at an airport and often think things would be soooo much better if people (professional as they are) understood the thought processes of a photographer.

Nice set.Didnt realise there was an Italian themed fly-in or I would have 'flown' down the A11 in the Alfa.
Always nice to see a Marchetti but the piece de resistance has to be the climb out shot of the Great Lakes.
Almost like a bi-plane Gee-Bee.
See you soon,Jay.

Re: Two very different biplanes.Cromer this weekend.
Thanks for your comments guys.
Comet I guess you are referring to the sighting device on the port wing. This basically provides the pilot with a visual cue to help maintain 45 or 90 degree angles relative to the horizon (primarily for competition aeros)

Squally I think best sums up the weather this weekend, and its nice to have some bubbly clouds for contrast if your a photographer. Sideslip recoveries onto grass runways in 30 knot gusts however............Thanks if you looked,Jay. https://farm4.staticflickr.com/3787/14258983694_ee17dca6be_b.jpg Tig...
