Re: Cosford Airshow 2022?
Looking good that at least this point the show is going ahead but that could all change. Let’s hope for two F-35 landing at Cosford lol with a nod back to the days of two Harriers operating out of the base on show day

Re: Birmingham Airshow 1973
Funny thing is, even though it was a huge event for Brum I don't recall much local TV coverage.... Sutch a shame we cant dig up more pictorial memories, it was my first airshow and kick started my love of planes. My Father and I went along to the Birmingham archives to see if we could find anything...

Re: Birmingham Airshow 1973
I recently came across this old(ish) topic . Like others here, I too recall being totally amazed [even in those days] at how they managed to stage this Show in the built-up suburbs of Birmingham - a wonderful experience, indeed. In that Summer of 1973, I was home in Kings Heath, on vacation from Un...

PM me if you’re interested in any of the footage.

Re: Want do YOU want to see at RAF Cosford in 2017..?
I have been attending the Cosford Airshow now every year since 1986 and over the years there have been some great shows. So I would like to point back to the 1999 show and hope that this years up and coming show can look something like this. I did film the whole event but I need to find it out of th...

Roger Heofling will always be my personal favourite fantastic authoritative voice and was extremely knowledgeable on what ever he was talking about. Commentated on every RAF Cosford show from when I first went to that show in 1986 up until 2002 when he was replaced by Sean Moffett and crew. I did he...

Just flown right over Kingswinford going directly north to south. Not sure of the serial number as it was not shown on my radar app although would imagine it was headed back to Brize.
