Thanks for the replies, much appreciated. Still some hope for the f16 theme at riat then. As i said, i wasn't sure just how many demos were still out there. Still a huge shame from the Belgians though as their demo was brilliant.

Really disappointing news, would have thought they would have tried to display for the 50th anniversary of the f16 and give it a proper send off.
How many solo f16 displays are still possible for riat does anyone know? Im not sure how many countries still have dedicated solo displays on the f16.

From what was heard on scanner, the nipper has been force landed into a field on the way in somewhere enroute to Fairford. They said pilot is ok and plane could fly again in future. Main thing is the pilot is alright

Thanks for your reply. Shame they aren't going to be on the ground at Fairford as the take-offs add to the enjoyment but still a great catch to have them here again. Its something i didn't think i would see again so thumbs up from me anyway.

It says 12pm on the website, but my brother says he has seen 11am on facebook or twitter, not sure which one but seems to be different timings being given out.

Are there any displays planned for today or is it just the daks leaving later? Just it said freefall parachute team display at 12pm and a Dakota solo but neither have happened so far?

Hi BOB.T, the reds are definitely at scampton at the moment and I have seen them up practising today (can see the smoke from Newark)
