RIAT18 Sat and Sun (Large Post)

Hi all, here is my lot from another very enjoyable (scorching) RIAT (in no particular order). 1. https://farm1.staticflickr.com/857/28646232017_1dae1c175b_b.jpg _CSP7461 by Chris Shaw , on Flickr 2. https://farm1.staticflickr.com/935/42628769285_b1060d12d7_b.jpg RIAT 2018 by Chris Shaw , on Flickr 3...

Off topic but just been doing some formation training with a friend in the L-39. Forgot how good a module this is, so much fun to fly.

Re: DCS: MiG-23 announced

I am really happy they have announced the MiG-23 but I wish their second announcement was something worth getting excited about like the Sea Harrier or a Helo. The sim doesn't a flyable F-15E

CF-18 Hornet Arrival at VLN

Just a couple from me of the arrival of the Royal Canadian Air Force CF-18's into RNAS Yeovilton this evening. It was a long wait but was well worth it. https://farm2.staticflickr.com/1824/43109709352_2a1ceaf340_b.jpg _CSP3969 by Chris Shaw , on Flickr https://farm2.staticflickr.com/1782/42255203635...

So it seems that ED have confirmed that there will be a viper in the works. I wonder how long it will take to complete now they don't have 2.5 to work on. 2 years i'm guessing?

https://www.twitch.tv/videos/208531099?t=04m55s My own VL on the Kuznetsov, let down by typical ED shoddy modelling Very nice. Yes I agree I thought that ED would have fixed that by now maybe its in the 2.5 merge along with the new Kuznetsov. In that vid did you have your SAS and Q-feel switches on?

Re: Future DCS noob

Also flying with others and talking via Teamspeak, simple radio or Discord is a great way to learn. I thought that I had the A-10 C sussed but after flying on Open Conflict (no longer there) and talking to a few other players it turned out that I knew nothing about the Hog.

Re: DCS Razbam Harrier

I love this module. It has got to be my favourite at the moment. Razbam have done a fantastic job. I know there is still a lot to do like the TGP, radios etc but for a early access its great. I have been practising my carrier landings and after hours of circuits im getting the hang of it now https:/...

Navy Wings Night Shoot with Threshhold.aero

On Thursday I went to my very first night shoot, it was a great night. I have a few things I need to learn and experiment with for next time. Navy wings and Threshold.aero put on a fantastic night with a great line up. So here are some of my efforts from the evening: 1. https://farm5.staticflickr.co...

This module looks amazing! I really cant wait for this, I do hope that they include a GR7/9 version in the future, but until then a fictional livery will do.

Very good build looks fantastic.
I hope you don't mind but there is one point i'd like to make. On the FW-190 D-9 there is a metal spine going through the centre of the main canopy from front to back, it looks like this is missing from your build.

Before the RIAT Blitzkrieg... my VLAD17

Hi everyone. Like the title states I thought I better get my Yeovilton Airday photos in before we are all engulfed in RIAT photos (which i'll be a contributor) The whole weekend was very good (security for arrivals was way ott, but thats another story) with a good variety of aircraft.
