I have been using this lens since the beginning of September as a longer reach than my 100-400L canon. Optically it works superbly at f8-f11 but is a little softer wide open or stopped down beyond F16. For airshows this didn't worry me. The image stabilisation does not have a mode 2 (panning) option...

First Post on the group....and tonight was my first Nightshoot! Very simply, I am blown away. Phil - massive thanks for what you have done. Everyone at RAF Northolt - Mucho Gracias.
