Re: JamieC's Abingdon

Playing with the colour balance in Photoshop would sort that out, no problem. I'll give it a go with my next set! Although I'll be using some sort of free software. I use Picasa at the moment, but only to crop (and occasionally straighten if the ground is in the pic.) Nice work Jamie some very good...

Re: DanO at Abingdon - Canberra-tastic

That first shot is a belter! I hope to see the Canberra booked to attend many events throughout the season (if a similar display to that of today were to be conducted consistently.) Lovely sight indeed and you've captured it very well. The others are of course brilliant as well but that first shot s...

Re: JamieC's Abingdon

These are good, Jamie. The blues seem a little too blue though - something gone awry in your editing? Thanks Dan! No editing I'm afraid.. Well, only basic editing, just some cropping. I'm a complete novice with editing. I assume the "too blue" affect is something to do with the camera its...

Here are a few shots from today's flying action! Canberra was the highlight for me, as I'm sure was the case for many others. The noise was quite incredible, love it! UPDATED - YoungWelshLad's Bournemouth Air Festival 2013

I had a very special day on Friday, when I got a tour of HMS Northumberland, and also got to witness a Reds display from the ship, which was quite a sight with all the toward the crowd breaks splitting right over the ship... YoungWelshLad's Dawlish Air Show 2013

Spent a wonderful day on the hill at Dawlish today! As with Cosford, I once again forgot my extra lens (ooops) so I was left to shoot solely off my Panasonic Lumix FZ100 without my LT-55 lens. The line up was brilliant this year, with the obvious stand out participant being the Reds, however a close...

There's a final addition to the Saturday flying display... I'm assuming it'll be an addition from Classic air force then, Peter? Seeing as you work there... OT: Weather isn't looking too bad. Sunny intervals with the possibility of showers at times during the day. Really looking forward to this one.

YoungWelshLad's RIAT 2013 - Saturday

Attended RIAT on Saturday again this year as I do every year. The show may have had a lot of criticism in the build up, but I think the flying display was top notch, and the static had some quality items.
