Re: Sunday 2 August – Drive-in Airshow (At the Movies)
...Jetstream, what a great display from a rarely seen type these day’s. I doubt there has been a Jetstream display anywhere since the last Royal Navy ones were retired close to a decade ago now, and I doubt there will ever be another one as the Cranfield example is due for retirement this year. You...

Had another cracking day at Shuttleworth, boy do this place know how to display aircraft!! Highlights of the day for me were the Jetstream, what a great display from a rarely seen type these day’s. John Romains flypast has got to be the best flypast I've ever seen, just got to love that man in a Spi...

Re: Sunday 2 August – Drive-in Airshow (At the Movies)
Is the concept of a DRIVE-IN airshow really so hard to grasp? Let me help you with that. You drive in. In a car. Then you are confined to a marked area beside your car, apart from access to toilets and a takeaway food and drink selling area. You don’t wander in randomly through the front gate on fo...

OK,so what happens if you do not own a car, access denied, even if you have purchased a ticket on line, social discrimination? Wouldn’t call it social discrimination, I would call it a silly decision when this is their only option to gain back some funds to keep these planes in the air that we love wa...

Re: First Show on July 18
Well first time to Shuttleworth today and what a great venue that is. Don’t know why it’s taken me so long to get there. When that sun came through this evening there was some amazing light on those wonderfully kept aircraft. Even half way back in zone B most of the displays felt close to you which ...

Re: First Show on July 18
Yes, the bend is around the control tower, so ideally that's the end to be at. I guess it'll be luck of the draw where they park you on the day though. Any chance of sharing the layout image please? Peter Would love to but still don’t know how to post images on here. Send me a DM with your email ad...

Re: First Show on July 18
I have an image showing the layout of how the show ground will look and they have split the parking into 3 zones. A being closest to control tower and C further away. Having never been to OW before is the control tower the end considered to be the “bend”?

Re: Sunday 2 August – Drive-in Airshow (At the Movies)
Think I will hold off on getting tickets for this one until I see how it goes next weekend and we also get a list of what’s going to be there. Numbers are very limited and the last one sold out within a few days, so be aware you run the risk of not getting a ticket if you leave it too long. Totally...

Re: International Sanicole Airshow, 13 & 15 September 2019
The next Belgian AF airshow will indeed be at Florennes, but only in 2021, last weekend of June. It will celebrate 75 years of the Belgian air force. As that show is at Florennes, the Sanicole airshow will also go ahead in 2021 at its usual September slot. According to the BAF days website there wi...

A few snowflakes got blown off their ladders when one had a play with his throttles, apparently some insurance claims were made and now we all suffer the consequences!!! That is down right offensive. It was meant as satire based only on what either Dan has said himself or on what others have said. The reference to the Guardian article is there to provide credible evidence that despite a self inflated opinion of worth there are others than believe differently. It is no more "character assas...
