Sid.

No worry. Forwarding information like that is okay. Its just that many publishers think they can get away with photos for almost free.

A small fee and they want RAW :lmao:

Guess, contributors get a free calendar as well. :yahoo: :lmao:

Small fees don't work! If they want to make money with my photos they'd better pay a fair price.

Re: F-16 Incident at Oshkosh

Again, looking at the F-16 video, a shocking lack of response from the emergency services. Guess, the pilot did not report an in flight emergency and the mishap started during or after touch down? His landing speed was way too high and the air brake was not operated. Oskosh runways 18/36 are some 6...

NAS Fallon

Had a nice visit to Fallon last week. Re: picture this.

1. I would leave the polarisation filter off. 2. Leave tripod at home. Its nice in a museum where low light requires long exposures but in the field I never used it. 3. 18-55mm is nice for static shots and landing shots of big birds like the KC-135, VC-10. Use the 75-300 for the fighters if you are ...

As far I know a hotmail.com account will be closed if its not active within a year. Guess you need to contact the hotmail hosts to get it running again. In time they indeed wil delete this in-active account if no action has been taken to safe it.

Hoogeveen airport, the Netherlands

Here's a small impression of our annual Wings and Wheels at Hoogeveen airport (EHHO), the Netherlands. Its just a small scale event. Weather worked well this year so it got time to go out play some air to air with the Piper Cub. http://www.mijnalbum.nl/GroteFoto-NTUYRJOT.jpg http://www.mijnalbum.nl/...

Re: Using a Canon 100-400 with a teleconvertor

Indeed its not good. Only way to operate it is using the manual focusing. AF will go nuts.
Adding the 1.4 ext. will drop another shot from the F/5.6 in the 400mm extension so gets F/6.3.
