Re: Vintage Evening at Duxford - 22nd June 2019

I wonder if those "Gilet Jaunes", goons they hire for security , have asked for double bubble for working after 6 pm . The control freaks at "Lock the Place Down-"HQ, couldn't balance the books, as their would be more security than spectators so won't play, because things don't g...

Nice account of the last show. A great shame, as you get better photo opportunities there, than at Duxford...

Re: Flickr access

It's got naff all to do with being a pro user or not. You HAVE to sign in to be able to upload photos, otherwise how to do they know who's uploading what? What I have noticed is that the username/email field is case sensitive in some cases, so you may need to be wary of that. You don't know for cer...

Re: Flickr access

I have the exact same problem, I also opted to use the free 1000 only image site. I left mine open , so as to use without signing on.(Got locked out) When I came to sign in they kept saying use Chrome, so downloaded it and went to sign on, no joy as the password was not good. Got a new pass word wen...

Re: Daks Over Normandy - June 2019

How about we just go to the event and enjoy what's there, and not worry about what isn't? Whether it's 20 or it's 40 Dakotas it will be nothing like anything I've ever seen. I think the most I've seen together is 3. Sometimes as we know, the weather can ruin everything for a welcome, big event,&quo...

Re: Duxford Battle of Britain Airshow 2018

You can use the A505 from Royston - really depends on your starting point. Very true, should have clarified. We'll be coming up from the south east so M11 would be the normal route in. Go to Junction J25 on the M25 and come up the A10, its only a few miles up from M11 turn-off and save yourself a l...

Thanks for the replies guys. I did think about using the P&R but figured that as I was coming up from the south and the P&R was further up the M11 I would probably be sat in traffic trying to get off at the actual Duxford junction so it maybe counter productive and then vice versa when I wa...
