Re: Flying Legends 2019

Normally park at the Royston end. Will the queues be any worse coming from the M11 and parking east side ? Cheers It was a bit manic at the Royston end. I got there around 8am and it still took 40mins to get parked up. I would imagine Sunday will be quieter as the Reds aren’t there. Thanks Neilos S...

Re: RIAT 2017 (Discussion & Participation Thread)

Wow. If I was organising an airshow and read a lot of this thread I'd just give up and not bother. Do people really think that the F-22 isn't capable of flying below a 1500ft cloud base? That's patently nonsense. The pilot was really keen to fly but was below his display minimums. The F-22 wasn't '...

Dont blame the pilot guys. Given a chance he'd display in it.
Blame his command/authoriser who sets the display limit.

He was somewhat constrained by the lowering cloudbase, so relatively tame for a Flanker. Still great to see. Hopefully the weather will permit "full" displays tomorrow.......but dont hold your breath. :-X

I can only imagine that Hendon have more money than they know what to do with... Does anyone know what the cost difference is between a static and fly...

Some lovely photographs. Nice work Sir! We were there Thursday-Saturday and sadly never saw the Fury fly. I didn't even know there was a Dauntless around! I take it the Hawk was on the East/West runway? Where abouts did you get the shot? Some lovely aircraft at the show but I found most of the displ...
