Re: Jersey Air Display 2015

Never been to Jersey airshow but I happen to have that week off in 2015 so might be going, if they can get the Draken and Viggen back I will certainly be going

Re: 2015 display debuts

The Czech Flying Legends MiG 15 UTI springs to mind, I've never seen one in the air before.

I really would like to see that at a UK show in 2015. Does anyone know if there is any chance of the Gannet currently being rebuilt being ready for 2015.

Vulcan and a Mig of any kind in the flying display, still it does not really make a differnce to me as I will be going anyway.

Re: 655 MaPS daylight/twilight shoot

Happy to pay between £30 to £40 for this as its likely to be my only chance to photo a Vulcan at night, however for the money I would expect the aircraft to be electrically live on the night with all lights on etc clearly the engines would not be running but no reason why covers could not be removed...

Going to an airshow when I was young and seeing the Vulcan display first got me interested.

Re: Cosford 2014 News [MAIN THREAD]

Spitfire and Canberra flypast will be good to see, rather looking forward to that. On the Vulcan its worth keeping in mind in 2009 it did its first flight of the year 2 days before Cosford and still made the airshow so plenty of time yet for them to do the ground runs, test flight and display practi...

Re: CWJs day 25th May 2014

Thanks for the running order, looks like it will be a great day. Is Canopus broken still ? Any chance it will taxi again ?

The commentator today said the Comet (Canopus) is fine but its ground power unit is out of order, they are hoping to have it fixed again in time for the open day in August.

Re: Waddo and RIAT compared

What is it with the SwAFHF?!! I just don't feel the swedes as much as everyone is implying, to be quite honest I would rather see many things; Tornado Role Demo, C-17 (f), c-130 (f) and believe me I could go on. Obviously everyone is entitled to their own opinion but personally I don't see what the...

I'd also like to see the F35 at Waddo this year but clearly its not going to happen, Craig if seeing the F-35 is something you want to do then your going to have to go to Fairford.

Re: Cosford 2014 News [MAIN THREAD]

It's a shame that the Ramex Delta can't come but clearly something special is being lined up and I cant wait to find out what you have got for the display. I can just see the speculation getting more and more intense until you announce the item in question and on that note I have been looking at the...

Certainly rather quiet today as I live under the flightpath, one or two rumours going around the area early this morning about aircraft blowing up on the runway and thousands of people being taken to hospital all of them clearly false but it goes to show how people will blow things out of all propor...

Never thought I would say but yes I agree totally with Dano r.e. people only donating once it becomes a charity. In fact unless I have been paying no attention at airshows last year I did not see a single stand or person trying to raise money and public interest for the peoples mosquito project. The...

Could an F-16 from Belgium not just fly from its home base display at Cosford and then go back home all in one flight or would it not have enough fuel to do so.

Thanks D200 looks like an early start then to ensure I'm on the first train from new street station into Cosford, also good to know the large models are coming back again always enjoy seeing them and that r.c. Vulcan really is impressive.
